So…I have another book idea…that I love already, lol. xD
And, well, it has two MC’s…as many of my books do, lol. XD
But first, I must say, it will be a partial romance WWII book, but anywho! 😀
Characters! XD
So, first, we have Adriene Mabelle Cadart. (Love her name…lol. <3 XD) She is a young French woman in Nazi-Occupied France. She is…oh, I’d say 19 years old. And here’s her pic!!! 🙂
She grew up on a small farm near Normandy with her mother, father, grandmother, and her older brother. She’s always been an…adventurous girl. She always followed her older brother, and it was a rare occurrence that her parents didn’t find her up in a tree or in the barn having adventures with her brother. She’s always been curious, and no one could ever get her to stop asking questions.
She was a very carefree girl…well…that is…until the Nazi’s came.
And then…
…everything changed.
And her brother was taken away for refusing to work for the Nazi’s.
And killed.
Since then, Adriene has strapped on a gun and begun to fight for her beloved France’s freedom from the tyrannical Nazi tyrants. She is deep within the French Resistance, and has vowed to never let anyone else close.
She’s too much at risk of losing them.
She easily keeps that promise.
Well…that is…
…until Ryan Garrett makes his way into her life.

Next, we have Ryan Lee Garrett. He’s a young man, Texan, and fighter pilot with the Eagle Squadron of the Royal Air Force. He’s about 21 years old. Here’s his pic too!!! 🙂
He grew up in a small town in Southern Texas, raised by his Aunt and Uncle with his older sister. He never knew his parents, who abandoned him and his sister when Ryan was a baby.
He had a good, happy life and was a carefree boy, having adventures and playing soldiers with his boy cousins like any young boy.
Everything was good.
Until his Aunt died.
His Uncle, broken, and not knowing how to raise children without his wife, sent his children away to live with his wife’s parents.
But that left Ryan and his sister.
But their Grandparents were dead too, so their Uncle was the only family they had left.
So…
…he sent them away.
Ryan was 7. His sister was 17.
They were both put in an orphanage but were soon adopted.
He looked forward to a new, loving family that they could belong in, but his hopes were soon dashed.
The family was abusive and wanted him and his sister for nothing more than work.
His sister, horrified by the cruelness of the family, especially towards her brother, took Ryan and ran away to a town in Texas miles away.
His sister has raised him ever since.
Due to his experience with the adoptive family, Ryan can’t stand alcohol and has flashbacks when he is yelled at or hit.
But other than that…he hasn’t been too badly affected, for which he is grateful.
And, though he’s hated it over the years, the best thing, he knows, that his sister has done for him is dragging him to Church every Sunday morning.
Ryan still doesn’t know why his parents abandoned him, why his Aunt died, or why there are parents and families like the one he was adopted by, but he tries to remember that God has a purpose for everything, no matter how bad it looks or seems.
He’s now fighting for freedom with the Royal Air Force. Since America isn’t involved in the war yet, he joined the Eagle Squadron, partially made up of American recruits, for the Royal Air Force, stationed in England.
He loves his job…but…on one mission…
…he crashes into Nazi-Occupied France.
Thankfully, he is found by the French Resistance.
And…
…he meets Adriene Mabelle Cadart, a beautiful, young French woman who is putting her life on the line for her nation’s freedom. And, she’s vowed to not love anyone else, too afraid of losing them.
She’s hurting…
…and Ryan wants to help her…
…but…
…he has his own problems to deal with.
Because…you see…
…he hasn’t forgiven the man who killed his sister.
