So, her hair is much more golden than red, but then, this whole picture is tinted, so…

      It’s still pretty close!

So, I’ll be adding some characters from our dump world, so if any of you have read LotR or C. S. Lewis, you’ll understand some of these better. Their stories will be changed so they can fit the AU, but I’ll mostly just translate them into that world, if that makes sense.

First off, Eira. As an ‘abandoned’ orphan she has grown up in an orphanage. She should be startlingly beautiful, enough to make her bloodline questioned, and as a small girl she was.

                But not anymore.

She has some chronic illness, has for many years. The doctors can’t figure out a diagnosis: nothing should be wrong. But by sixteen she’s nearing skeletal thin, her tight red curls now limp waves. Her leaf green eyes staring hollow. Empty.

She’s dying. And no one knows why.

There’s one last hope: a genetic test that may at least offer answers, if not a cure.

Also, only read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and never read any Tolkien. XD *hides from all the LOTR fans*

                        I now…*damp sigh*

LotR is fun, but to be totally honest I prefer Lewis. (My family is actually listening to LotR right now as we are on the road)

Yeah, I like Lewis better too. I mean, LotR is really good, but Narnia and Mere Christianity are hard to beat.

The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is WONDERMOUS!

@koshka. @elishavet-pidyon. Yeah, I don’t know, I just haven’t ever had an interest for LOTR…I only recently even starting reading Lewis after my mom got The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe when the school she works at was getting rid of some old books they had, lol, and just never really been interested in LOTR.

My best friend absolutely LOVES it tho…just…I’ve never been interested. xD

But, as we all know, Historical Fiction is always my go-to, so…XD

I have a friend like that too! In fact, she’s the whole reason I ever read the series. They’re good, just when reading I had to step back a lot so I could understand the underlying truths. Otherwise they’re kinda weird.

Historical fiction is one of the best genres out there! ๐Ÿ˜‰

@koshka. Totally understand that! Lewis’ allegory is a lot easier to see, from what I’ve heard.

It is!!! Even though it’sย sometimesย hard to find good Historical Fiction books…but thankfully I’ve found many good ones over the years. ๐Ÿ˜‰
