Yay!! Ok. Now to start with probably my favorite… Everton Barlowe! So, for some backstory. He grew up with an okay life. His father was super strict, but become worse as Ev grew up. Now his father, Malyk, wants things done in the home his way or it isn’t right. He’s extremely strict and doesn’t really care what the others think. All Ev wants is freedom. So here’s what I have in a doc that kind of describes him:
Just like Asher [his brother], Everton plans to leave home when he turns eighteen. It takes everything in him not to defy his father. He has a fiery spirit and hates seeing wrongs not getting righted. He can be fiercely loyal and clings onto the things he believes. The one person that convinces him to look for the silver lining in the clouds is Amidala, his best friend and the most beautiful girl he’s ever met. He wants to tell her his feelings about her, but that’s the one and only thing that he’s afraid of doing. He is impulsive and it takes a lot to restrain him from what he’s already determined to do. He tries to cover up his emotions, but Amidala always sees through that. Everton feels like he’s missing something in his life, but doesn’t know what.
I know it’s kinda choppy, but I’m the only one who references it. Also, he ends up running away from home early on in the book. 😅 To tell you how very much he is defensive and impulsive, he literally almost attacked someone one they insulted his brothers. But all he really needs, is love from his parents. And ultimately, God. Here’s his moodboard!

Now for Amidala Nadir. She’s super sweet and patient, (especially with Ev). Here’s the same type of thing I had for Ev on my doc:
Amidala is the quietest of the Nadir family. She enjoys being alone and finds joy in expressing herself through art, whether it be painting, sketching, or doodling. She is typically shy, and unlike her older brother, is a complete introvert who tries to avoid crowds of people. Despite that, she is kind and patient with those she meets and sees daily. She claims she’s not brave or courageous, but her best friend Everton tries to tell her otherwise. As she grew up with Everton, she began to like him as more than a friend, but is too scared to tell him. She loves her family and the Lord dearly. She strives to be a good Christian but feels like she’ll never get it right.
I think that pretty much explains it. Her family is Christian, btw. Here’s her moodboard!

John: Of course, Sara. Oh you always have to hit me with the hardest question 1st, eh? I guess that’s alright. Hardest-easiest I suppose. Well she’s one of the sweetest girls. She almost never yells except for that one time last week but hey, we don’t talk about it! Ooh, a color. This seems to fit my personality I’ve been told but green. It’s a cool color. I’m a cool (or chill kinda guy I’ve been told so…). 😂 Dream: To save the world? Too big you say? OK then to never lose my daughter again. For a while it was to save her but now I never want to lose her. Animal? I’d say a pony. I got one for my daughter and she loves it. He’s very sweet. 😊
