I am a man of mystery.

Brat, jerk, freak, thief, murderer, useless, maniac, fraud, charlatan, and mercenary are all words I’ve heard. I prefer charming, handsome, and genius, but alas, everyone who’s ever called me that changed their minds after I ran off with their money.
5. Where do you live? What is your race/ethnicity?
I live on the streets of Laerylia. I’m a Airlyn.
[many of these characters resemble their element to some degree, hence the answer of Airlyn. In our terms he’d be white. Most Airlyns are, and nearly all have white hair.]

Nothing. Why should I?
7. What kind of struggles do you face in your everyday life?
Do you have any idea how difficult it is to break into a Council meeting? Or bandage stab wounds? I think not.

Money.

I…. I don’t know…. I just….. no…. NO! NOT HIM!!!!….I mean…. I just feel safe around it! I think something happened in my childhood….? Or I could be over thinking it!
What about it is so cool or appealing to you?
It makes me feel safe. I think everything can die to fire, and having something that destroys all… destroys life… having that by my side, I feel like I have a private body guard… I feel like it dances for me too, like it is my friend. It feels… alive… in a way… and I always need to feed it…

My full name? It is Princess Rapha Aalto, Keeper of the throne of healers. I do not have a middle name, my kind do not find a use for one.

I am never afraid to help! I am the kind of person you would go to when you are unsure whom to go to!

Rapha is sitting, her hands are neatly folded on her lap, and her posture is well. She has a smile on her face, and is keeping eye contact. When she says something, she usually nods after wards

Well, I believe most people say I am kind but strict! And I am well trained in speech patterns and posture! I also can’t lie… anyone can tell when I am lying.
5. Where do you live? What is your race/ethnicity?
I am an Arraia, pronounced Uh-HIGH-uh. I am a special kind of… human… I like to say! With the abilities of a ray, but the attributes of a human. My skin is blueish gray.
6. What do you contribute to your world?
Not much to the whole world, but I am very important in my kingdom, though! I keep every living thing on the island in good health! Plants, animals, and people! It is my job, and my people, to keep the island alive! Thriving! Without us our island would be no more than a LARGE rock… a very large rock.
7. What kind of struggles do you face in your everyday life?
Well, right now we are at war with some of the other islands around us…. and we have to keep the island alive! Plus I have to rule over my people! And to add to that, I HAVE to find a husband to bear an heir… but I think I have already found someone, would you like me to send him in next?

Children! They are so hopeful! So innocent! They believe the most wonderful things! They are so thoughtful, energetic, and bold!

I live in the Vice President’s House, in [unnamed capital] Laerylia. I am an Earthlyn. [In our world, she looks closest to African-American, but her eyes are green and there are some green streaks in her hair]

It is so tiring to have eight men vying for your hand. *deep sigh* My father wants me to marry this hideous old creep. I am too young for marriage. I intend to have a good time before I settle down. *flips hair*

“I’m really fast. I have my lucky pair of pink tennis shoes that Mom got me, so I could totally beat you in a race.”

Mel is kicking her legs back and forth as she sits in her seat, and is grinning excitedly. Sometimes she’s squirming so much in her chair, she looks like she’s about to fall off.

“I’ve heard the adults call me ‘special’ a few times, but the way they say it doesn’t sound very good…”

“I’m American! I live in Washington. Not DC. I’m not that fancy.”
(She’s white/caucasian, but I personally wouldn’t have known to say that at 11 yrs old so she didn’t)

“Well I’m a pretty good friend to my friends. Does that count?”

*exaggerated sigh* “School. I try to do good, but I just can’t focus. If my mind decides to think about the cute dog I saw this morning instead of boring math, who am I to tell it no? And my teacher hates me. She says I don’t care enough to learn. I bet if school was outside and the trees were my teachers I’d be a much better learner.”

“I don’t know. I just like playing and having fun with my friends.”

Rax is sitting in the chair, he looks relaxed and is smiling. His sword is beside him leaning against the chair. And his best friend and adviser, Ben, who is an automaton, is to his right.

“Oh, boy.” Rax chuckled, “Well, I can be like a bear, I guess. I’m very friendly until I’m angered. And when I’m angered, it can be hard for me to get calmed,” Rax’s voice began to get slightly quieter and set his gaze to the floor, as if he felt guilty of something, “And I can be very scary.”

Rax looked up, “I live in the Kingdom of Deo with my wife, Ivory. But before that I didn’t really live anywhere, a nomad. I was born in this kingdom when it once was called the Kingdom of the Nameless Lord, but he’s not so much nameless now ever since I gave him the name Lord Quackers (he didn’t like that name very much). But he’s gone now, me and the Unicorn defeated him.”

“I am one of the protectors for the humans, since there are much stronger forces that could overtake the humans. So, there are three protectors, me, the Unicorn, and the Pheonix, one for each of the three human kingdoms.”

Rax huffed, “Mostly myself, if I’m being honest. Every day is a battle, fighting for control over the beast of fire that’s in me. Other than that, my wife,” Rax chuckled, “She can be a wonderful mess at times. But don’t tell her I said that.”
