Oh, you’re fine, girl!! 😀 Thanks for jumping in and sharing your characters!! I’ll definitely check out that blog post, because I already know I just love Rosalie and Palladin!!:) And yes, I’d love to know more about them!! And thank you for saying that! I’m glad you think so 😉 And YES, Deek! (Honestly, it makes me so happy every time you fangirl over him. I mean it, I’m so happy you like my characters!)
I’m just glad I decided not to go through with killing Deek like I had originally planned.Yes, I’d love to read your blog post! 😀Oh good:) Yeah, I have no idea why that happens… oh well I suppose. I agree with you on that, I’m so glad you thought of it and think so about Mejia/Filip. Because for a while I wasn’t sure if it was going to mess with the character I gave her, so yes, that is incredibly helpful:D And the more I think about that aspect of those two, the more I like it; and I think it could definitely add a layer of depth to their characters.
And the fact that he’s like that too, is one of the many super amazing/adorable things about Newton as well:)I adore Caira and Deek’s relationship all the way to the beginning when they escaped those soldiers:)
*Hands Deek back reluctantly* alight, since your positive that he doesn’t get killed. I was literally almost on the verge of tears at the thought of Deek sacrificing himself for Caira. It would have probably broke my heart into about a million pieces if he had died… *snatches him back* *re-reads post to make sure he survives* *Hands him back again* can never be too careful. Deek is defeintly a likeable character. I mean I liked him when I first heard about him, and then when I actually found out about this awesome guy? A million times more amazing!:DAnd absolutely NP:) because I absolulty mean it. And ditto, your posts have been a major inspiration/motivation for TSW, (I mean you don’t know how encouraging they are:) And never give up on Fortitude unless of course a tornado snatches the manuscript. But even then you can re-write, because I honestly believe that you’ve got a special novel on your hands there.
Aw thank you! Funny you should say that, because just a little bit ago, I was thinking pretty much the same thing for my book dedication too:) I mean I don’t know how I could keep with writing right now without KP. So yep, my dedication page is pretty much planned out:)Those sound like some seriously awesome characters and Kaizuke is so cute!! 😀 😀 😀 I love inventory type characters and Chiaroscura sounds amazing too:)

I’m glad it was helpful!! 😀 It means a lot to hear you say that. Aww, thank you! Honestly, I never would’ve dreamed that Newton would’ve had so many fans, but it makes me so happy that he does!! Yay, thank you!! I’m glad–Caira and Deek’s relationship goes through such a dramatic change over the arc of the story that it’s enjoyable to write, and that’s part of the reason why I just couldn’t kill Deek. And, wait, seriously? Unfortunately, me too (I’ve brought myself to tears many times over this story… *sigh*) and yes, you have my word that he’ll stay alive. It was going to be a heartbreaking scene where he takes the blow of a sword for her, getting stabbed so that Caira would be safe. He was going to smile at her and tell her that he loved her just before he died, and at that moment I knew I just couldn’t kill him. So yes *takes Deek* he’s safe. (But yes, you can never be too careful with writers…)

He was going to sacrifice himself for his sister, Caira, in the last arc of the last book, until I decided that it would break my heart (and Caira’s) too badly. Oh my goodness, I nearly cried, (no, literally). That sounds like the saddest scene ever *reaches back for Deek, but restrains self, remembering it doesn’t happen*. I mean I absolutely love Deek so much, that he would protect Caira even at the expense of his own life…… but him actually having to do it? It’s just too heartwrenching to even think about:,(
*Whew!* It’s such an extraordinary relief that he survives.
Yeah, you can never be too careful with writers, (although this seems kinda cruel to admit, one of my immediate cast dies later on in the story:( You’re being so much nicer to your cast than I am being to mine….. *sigh*Thank you!:D Yeah, I feel like I repeat myself a lot as well, (I may have even said that before XD ), but I always mean it too:)

I just love my character soooo much!So, I don’t think I’ve told anyone this yet, but Palladin has a Fairy guardian.Hehe, and she has a very important role in the story.He keeps his Fairy guardian a secret ’cause well she’s a Fairy and he doesn’t like Fairies and doesn’t want anyone to know about her. Do you mind me asking? Is she a main character? Aw, that’s so special that she’s like a mother figure *tries hard to keep from fangirling but failing* I don’t see many books about fairies, so I think that’s so unique!! 😀
I’m with Lexi on that. Palladin sounds like such an AMAZING character!!!!!:D And I definitely love the concept of a Fairy Guardian:) That is just way too awesome!:D
