Jocelyn & Nyx
Everyone stared at the tower. Franz had been pulled in, leaving everyone who was still on the ground left to climb to the window.
“So….” Viktor placed his hands on his hips, turning to face the group. “Anyone want to go next, or…?”
“ME!” Lyn cried, waving her hand excitedly before Vulkasin could offer to go ahead. Nyx grinned, leaping back up onto her shoulder.
“Okay, just be careful and-“ But Lyn was already moving and paying no attention to Viktor- or anyone for that matter.
”Lyn! Please be careful!” Ara cried, placing a hand over her mouth.
Jocelyn, however, was already halfway to the window, her hands and feet easily finding grips in the rubble.
She wasn’t the tallest of them there, by any means, but she could climb and was agile, and it definitely came in handy.
She laughed as she leapt for the window sill.
”LYN!” Ara screeched, and she was positive she heard Eva in the back say, “Good Lord!”
The tips of her fingers caught the ledge and she smiled, leaning her head back as the rest of her body swayed. At last she found a toehold, and Nyx clambered off her shoulder and into the tower.
“What-“ Riker’s head poked out the window and his eyes went wide at the sight of Lyn, hanging on by her fingers and slowly climbing in. “What are you-!” He quickly helped her inside and she laughed as she plopped on the floor next to Naja. Nyx stood on the window sill, grinning from ear to ear.
“That was great! Wish we could’ve climbed to the roof though.”
“Same.” Lyn sighed.
Naja was staring at her wide-eyed, and then glancing at Nyx, her little eyes sparkling.
Oh yea! She hadn’t introduced herself yet!
”Oh! Hi! I’m Jocelyn! But you can call me Lyn! And this is my best friend, Nyx!” Nyx leapt into Jocelyn’s arms. Lyn winced slightly, realizing he still had a bit of dried blood on him.
Hopefully Naja wouldn’t notice…she wouldn’t want to explain where it came from.
Naja’s big eyes brightened even more as she stared at Nyx. Lyn smiled. He…probably looked pretty cute to the little girl.
She could only hope he behaved….

Also, @godlyfantasy12, Naja thinks Nyx is absolutely ADORABLE. XD She wants to grab him and hug him. That wouldn’t end well though. XD Unless Nyx can control himself. She’s only 5.

So, we’re scaling the tower? This’ll give my charrie the chance to do something kinda cool. How tall exactly is the tower again?

Or at least that’s the hight to the window.
