Okay here’s my main antagonist:
Name: Sorren
Nationality: Northern soldier
Family: Has none needs none
Age: I’m terrible at ages!!! Okay, he’s a grown man. How’s that?
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Steel Gray, cold and hard
Personality: Hard, cruel. He’ll use anyone he has to and walk over anyone he has to to achieve his goals. Extremely selfish. What else? Oh yeah, his loyalties belong to the highest bidder, pretty much.
Biggest Fear: Fear? What’s that? JK I’m sure he has some I just can’t find them…
Faith: Non-existent
It’s probably a bad idea to have him in here with Payton…. I can see it already:
First scene: Payton calls him a coward, traitor, liar, a leech on the noblest kingdom ever (that last one was another little treasure from 5AM) and when breath and imagination gives out, challenges Sorren to a duel leading to….
Scene 2 in which Payton is lying mortally wounded on the floor of a character castle in the middle of who-knows-where

@freedomwriter76 Okay these two are friends and they are my allegory charries so I put them in here b/c I don’t know a whole lot about them and I want to find out. SO feel free to tease them, make them laugh, cry, push any of their buttons you find. Whatever. You have my full permission! lol
Verity
Age: young girl…. I’m still working this one out
Hair color: Dark red, long, straight
Eye color: Bright blue (think aquamarine)
Personality: She has a bit of a temper (Trevyn calls here spitfire, but he’s the only one who can get away with that…) She will say exactly what she thinks (except on her faith) and will defend her friends at all costs.
Biggest Fear: Heights
Faith: She’s in an allegory so…. ? At the moment she doesn’t believe in God. She’s grown up in a land where a false religion is enforced/truth is suppressed and faith is the one area she’s unsure on.
Trevyn
Age: young boy….same as Verity
Hair color: Very light brown
Eyes: One blue (right) and one gree (left)
Personality: One word. No make that two: Extremely shy. Verity’s really his only close friend. Well, she made friends with him first when they were slaves together….
Biggest fear: People he doesn’t know. Or just people in general I guess.
Faith: Same as Verity

@queen_of_alvastia. And now…the 3rd and final Character: Combat Medic Jayden Caleb Carter.
He’s 20 years old, sarcastic, highly intelligent, caring, strong (physically, at least, hehe), honest, helpful, loving, and does whatever he can to make other people’s burdens lighter.
He’s fairly muscular. 🙂 He’s the younger, adopted brother of Asher. 😉
Now, about his faith…that’s…a little complicated. 😅 His adopted father (thus, Asher’s father) is a Pastor, and his adopted mother, Asher, and Jayden and Asher’s younger sister, Maggie, are strong Christians. But he’s not. But here’s why: It’s not that he doesn’t believe God exists, it’s just that it’s difficult for him to believe in God, especially with what he goes through during the war. (I mean, he sees men die EVERY DAY!) And also…his childhood. (i’m gonna cry. 😭) Before he was adopted at age 15 (so old, I know…) his father, whom he loved and was actually good to him, left when he was 9 years old. (still trying to decide why. Maybe the depression? 🤔) So that was the first thing. But the biggest factor…his mother abused him. Hit him, told him he was nothing but a mistake, said he was good for nothing, etc. And, when his dad left, his mother was pregnant and later gave birth to another baby boy. She worked and drank and smoked and left Jayden to care for his baby brother at 9 years old while ALSO going to school. (Normally brought his brother with him. No one cared or really noticed) When his brother was 3 years old…he was diagnosed by the doctor with some disease. (haven’t decided what it was yet) Jayden’s mother didn’t have money and didn’t care enough to do anything. 3 months passed…and Jayden’s baby brother died, battling every day. Jayden was completely alone, only a 12-year-old kid. His mother still stayed her horrible self, still hurting him, and she died two years later. Jayden was thrown into an orphanage (that didn’t treat him any better than his mother). For a whole year he lived in the Orphanage, until Asher’s parents, his parents now, adopted him. Jayden looks at his past…at everything he went through…and at the war and doesn’t see where God has ever been good. Other than him being adopted, his life was just…so full of pain. He believes that there is a God, but that that God doesn’t even know he exists, or, if he does, doesn’t care a whit about Jayden. And Jayden wants nothing to do with God either. 😭 Wow, is his story the saddest one I’ve come up with yet? Excuse me while I lock myself in the bathroom and cry my eyeballs out. 👋😭😭
He also has PTSD, thus has flashbacks, nightmares, sudden outburst of anger, and cowers any time someone raises their hand. He’s triggered by fighting, alcohol, and yelling.
Anywho…here’s a pic of what he looks like: (still crying. 😭😭😭)

OOH, if Sorren was around Jayden…*shudders* That would be bad. 😬 (but would make for some great development for Jayden…🤔)
Alright! Good to know I have permission! The same goes for mine as well! Especially Jayden and Asher. (Michael’s been in my head for a long time. I FINALLY got him a book, lol.) Do whatever you like with them! 😜

@freedomwriter76 If Verity gets worked up at Soren yelling and sees Jayden’s reaction she’s going to go into “protect my friends at all costs evil villain you must shut your mouth or prepare to meet your doom” mode.

@freedomwriter76 Oh, really? You’re welcome for noticing! Since he’s actually a “borrowed” character from an already written story, I’ve built onto him a bit. In the TV show he appears in, he’s a rather selfish and slightly cruel character, but he does show evidence that he does in fact care about his siblings (four brothers and one sister). By giving him an extended family in my own fanfics, I can give him a gentler side, although he is still very much the “touch me and I kill you” sort of character.
And he does have a son of his own, Jareth, who I kinda want to add now because he’d probably make great friends with Naja……….
Where'd I get ya this time? The liver? The kidney? I'm runnin' outta places to put holes in ya.

@keilah-h. Really! 😀 Of course! (I build onto Steve and Bucky all the time, 😂) I like those characters. Has a tough side and a tough outer shell, but honestly, they’re normally a sweetheart and gentle soul on the inside. 😜

Sorren
The mists cleared before Sorren’s eyes. Alvastia had melted away, now he was in another place. Who cares? This old castle couldn’t worry him less. Escape was not a possibility. It was not an option. It was the only choice.
Voices coming from the corridor raised his attention.
Good. He was glad that he was no longer alone, because if others were here, they could be the tools out of this place. They would be sheep, bleating and running in circles until he came.
But he wasn’t a shepherd.
Far from it.
He was the wolf, driving them as he pleased, closing in for the kill.
Just when he was worried today would be as dull and boring as a sky without a storm blazing across the night.
He strode forward, head high, proud of heart and proud of bearing. Light danced off the daggers at his side and the hilts of the two razor sharp blades crossed in an ‘X’ at his back.
