She took another large bite of her bread and glared grumpily ahead of her as if the castle itself would be able to sense her disapproval.

@loopylin. Well…the plan is for him to be holding a few of my charries hostage as of this moment, but he can run into whatever group everyone wants! 😀 He won’t mind hurting plenty of people. 🤐

Steffi nodded in agreement, looking ahead, pushing herself forward.
She couldn’t imagine being stuck in this dark place for more than a day.
But then again…there were darker places.
Steffi faced Eddie again with a smile. “So, Eddie, where are you-”
She was interrupted when Henry’s scream carried down the hall.
Steffi abruptly turned, grabbing the wheels of her wheelchair, spinning herself around.
Henry clutched for Adolphus’ pant leg as Jason held Aiden, sobbing, screaming, trying to get Adolphus’ attention.
But Adolphus was frozen…staring down another hall.
Steffi almost went over there, to help Henry and get Adolphus out of it, when footsteps sounded…
…and Frida and Felix came around the corner.

Lyn shot him Nyx a small look, still smiling. “Nice to meet ya, Dylan and Zyrin! That’s quite a glow you have,” Jocelyn commented, pointing at Zyrin’s chest.
The young man blinked, looking down, seeming a bit confused.
“Is it part of your race? My friend Luna would probably love to meet you,” Jocelyn then stood, dusting herself off. She then laughed slightly. “Sorry, guess all the questions are a bit…forthcoming. I’m a curious gal!”
The two guys only looked the more confused.
“I don’t think they have any idea what you’re talking about. Why don’t we leave it that way and head out?” Nyx hissed under his breath.
“Ah…” Lyn raised her brows, realizing slightly. “This is…your first time here…” She tugged on her jacket. “Mm, well, guess now’s a better time then any time explain!” She quickly sat down, criss-cross beside them, still grinning like a cat.
Nyx groaned, jumping from her shoulder. “Seriously? May as well have a cup of tea with these guys. Who knows, maybe they’re not crazy psychopaths…” Lyn quirked her lips at the kit before turning her attention back to Zyrin and Dylan.
“So…this castle’s a bit…of a conundrum. Long story short, it brings all sorts of different people here from different worlds. Meaning different races, breeds, creatures. Ya know, a couple of your average dragons sometimes…”
The two boys didn’t look any less confused. If anything they now just looked like they had major headaches.
“Great…”
“Anyway! The castle basically has a mind of its own, so my guess is, your a race from a different world, brought here…well…who knows why. I don’t even know why I’m here. As for you,” she pointed to Dylan. “Not sure what you are.”
Dylan’s eyes widened. “Uh! Um…h-human?!”
“Oh same! Well…Cirquian, but yea.”
Dylan rubbed his head.
Nyx placed a paw on his head. Sighed. “Lyn…you’re not the best at explaining things…”
“Well I’m trying aren’t I! I don’t see you helping.” Lyn sighed.
