Lol, yes, I did eventually. But then I had to go crank up our four wheelers and ride them both around so the batteries wouldn’t clog up, and then I had to wash dishes….lol so yeah, I can RP now tho 😅.

Ara smiled kindly. She seemed to be thinking.
Then, she stepped closer to me.
“To be honest,” she started, “I am too…”
What?
I looked up, eyes wide. “R-Really?” Ara nodded.
“It’s gotten better, I have to admit. A lot better, but,” she frowned at the looming shadows ahead, “I still get this anxious pit in my stomach whenever it’s increasingly dark, or pitch black. Just…the absence of light is so eery. It brings back…unwanted memories.”
I nodded slowly, staring into the shadows that loomed in the hall.
It seemed like someone was creeping through the shadows, lurking, waiting, for a moment when I wasn’t looking, to snatch me from the company of Ara, and take me back…back….back there.
I shuddered, and shrunk closer to Ara’s side.
I heard a small gasp escape from her lips. I looked up at her, fear in my eyes, hoping I didn’t upset her.
Ara’s sculpted brow creased as she gazed at me, a few inches shorter then her. Finally, she smiled, reaching out a hand.
“But, I often find the best way to get through the darkness is to walk through it. The light will always greet you in the end.”
I gazed up at her. She reminded me of my sister, beautiful, kind, and…
I snapped up. The light. Light.
Iris’s words flooded back to me, my head in a whirl.
“Even though we live in a dark time, and we feel dark at times…the light always over comes the darkness, Asher. Always. In every scripture story, every story that is worth hearing, Light over comes Darkness. Always remember that.”
I smiled. Light overcomes darkness.
Suddenly, I realized that Arabella was holding out her hand to me.
I blinked. Once, twice, thrice.
Then I blushed, and slowly, I reached out and took her hand in mine.
She smiled from ear to ear at the familiarity of touch. I smiled too, my cheeks hinted with a touch of pink.
“Shall we?” She asked.
Stunted for words, I merely nodded.
Light overcomes Darkness, I thought, squeezing Ara’s hand tightly, and inching a bit closer as we stepped into the dark.
AHH I LOVE writing those two <3<3!!! What should we have them do next? Maybe find another character or find a cool room?

@godlyfantasy12. Uhmmm…Lily might be scared of fire, but otherwise, not really. Sadie can’t see it, so…😅 And do you want the group to split up for a minute so they can find food and then maybe run into Yosi before bringing him back to the group??? Just an idea. @godlyfantasy12. I was thinking maybe Leo and maybe someone else or a couple others??? That way we can leave Riker to make sure the others stay safe. Leo will probably have Sadie, just bc she’d want to stay with her daddy. 😊
@freedomwriter76 yea, Grimm would probably be good to help search for food, so he could go with Leo.
Paxton I think would stay with November.
Would Jonathan go with Leo or stay with Riker? And what about the other kids and Talia?

Yay! That sounds good. They can meet him while getting food (maybe he has found some?) and he can come back with them to meet N and Paxton.
Also, I’m thinking that one of the kids might ask about the brand, because adults usually try to ignore such things. He wouldn’t really mind, but it would open up some details to further conversation at will.
