@godlyfantasy12, btw, are Lilith, Aramis, and Edrich still here…? Just a question.

        @freedomwriter76 @koshka

November rubbed the back of his neck nervously, watching the exchanges between the two older men with a fast beating heart.

They all introduced themselves and he nodded politely, forcing a smile.

        Soldiers. Like Riker….

If he knew anything from some of his meetings with…some soldiers in this castle…not all of them were very friendly.

Then again…Riker was. So…maybe these were too?

Maybe…maybe he just got the wrong impression…

Maybe…maybe it was just the way the one man…Hans…the way his eyes looked at him…

        Reminded him so much of…

He flinched slightly. No one probably noticed.

With all of the new memories…no matter how blurry…how dark they were in his mind….they’d made things between him and his father, even more…strained then they already had been.

Before, November hadn’t thought much of what his father had done to him. He’d just…thought it was normal. But now? What he knew?

        He knew it wasn’t…

        He knew now…

        And…

It didn’t make him feel any better.

        It…actually made him feel worse…

        Like…he was just some…broken toy….

Some unwanted piece of junk. So worthless that his own father had treated him that way…

Then again, they could’ve killed him, if what Corvina said was true. And they didn’t…so, that was something…

        But…yet, it was also nothing.

November raised his head again, eyes once more meeting the coal ones of the man with Riker.

“Nice to meet you,” Zlatan said, though his eyes seemed wary. Searching. Not because he distrusted Riker, November was sure! But…perhaps he too was feeling a bit of what November did. “I am Zlatan. Zis is my brother, Vulkasin.” Vulk nodded, a large smile on his face. Zlatan turned to November, a small smile on his lips.

November blinked then stiffened. “O-Oh! Uh…I-I’m November.” He tugged at a curl, averting his gaze, and then, focusing on Riker instead. The two smiled.

          @godlyfantasy12 @loopylin @lightoverdarkness6

I’m going to try with Easton, remember yall can write him too! If it isn’t working that’s fine well just pretend he was never here XD

@freedomwriter76 how about one of your groups of charries is on the other side of the passage, so they can see what is going on, and eventually they will meet up? Any character group is fine.

          Lesli and Tauren

Lesli turns to face the dark passageway. Stairs lead downwards, and many corridors shoot off to the side.

Well, if anyone were to go missing, this sure would be the place to get lost.

Lesli gingerly places her foot on the stone flooring, rough with age.

“You guys I’m going to look down here. Maybe we can find your friends.”

“Les that looks scary!” Tauren says, catching up to her. “Who knows what’s down here?”

“That’s the point! Maybe we’ll find there friends down here.” Lesli says excitedly, her adventurous side showing itself. The rest of the group follows close behind, peeking into doors and calling names.

Tauren runs ahead of the group, flinging open a wooden slattted door.

          “Anyon–”

“WHO GOES THERE?!!” A loud voice booms from inside. “This is my castle.”

A short but proud looking man steps out of the door, flamboyantly throwing it shut behind himself.

Tauren nervously backpedals towards the wall. “Uh-oh! I’m very sorry, I don’t even know how I got here!”

Is that so.” He narrows his eyes at Tauren before turning to survey the group.

          “Y-yes.” Tauren stutters.

"And so I left this world just as I had entered it. Confused."

@mineralizedwritings. Good idea! 😀 I think I’m gonna do Camille, Joshua, and Wolfgang. 😉

            @godlyfantasy12
. @loopylin. @lightoverdarkness6. They’re not joining up yet, but the three listed above are going to be watching y’all’s group for a bit. 😉

            Joshua

Joshua held Camille even closer, just as he heard footsteps and voices.

He pressed a finger to his lips and pulled Wolfgang with him up against the wall, making sure all three of them were well-hidden.

They were opening doors and calling out names.

Suddenly, a loud voice sounded as a door slammed open. “WHO GOES THERE?!! This is my castle.”

Joshua pulled Wolfgang further into the shadows.

Wolfgang looked over there, though, and his eyes widened. “Joshua! I-I think I may have seen someone we know!!!” He whispered, but it was still loud, and Joshua pressed a finger to his lips.

“Shh, Wolfgang, quiet…we don’t want anyone to find us…no telling who’s all over there…”

            “But…but I think I may have seen Paxton…”

“Paxton? The boy only a little bigger than me?” Camille asked, looking up at Joshua, her bright blue eyes lighting up with intrigue.

Joshua held Camille closer and pulled Wolfgang closer as well, wrapping his arms around them both. “Shh…let’s stay here until we know the coast is clear.”

            But he did watch.

            He wasn’t stupid.

@freedomwriter76 mm I removed them I think. I didn’t really want to write them anymore, but idk i could put the brothers back in later but not Lilith.

              Arabella

Ara nodded, eyes searching the doors of the room. “Any ideas which door?” Ellie frowned, shaking her head. Ara sighed.

Seemed the decision was up to her.

              It usually was.

              The price of leadership.

She stepped towards a tall, dark oak door with gold etching. Her hand reached out to it, as if drawn by some…unknown force. She closed her eyes. Breathed in. Out.

She turned back to Ellie. “How about this one?”

“Fine by me,” the young woman smiled, adjusting her son in her arms. He shuffled a bit, cooing.

Ara opened the door slowly, silently praying that there was nothing dangerous behind this door.

If she led this woman and her child into danger…she wouldn’t be able to forgive herself.

The door slowly opened, revealing a dark room, lit only by the light from the previous room.

It was dusty, causing Ara to cough and her eyes to water slightly. She peered in, wondering if there was even a hallway.

Indeed, there was another door at the other end, past an array of junk, covered in linen and cloth.

She glanced at Ellie who had made her way over. The young woman’s brows furrowed, but she shrugged.

The two stepped in, waving the dust away from them, and making sure the door behind stayed open to shine light inside.

“What is this?” Ellie asked, a small cough escaping her throat. She gently wrapped up Abel in his blanket, making sure to keep him from all of the flying dust.

“Not sure…perhaps a sort of, storage room? Perhaps that’s what all of those rooms were.”

              “It would make sense.”

Ara nodded, carefully making her way to the other end where she’d spotted another door, hopefully leading to a hallway.

Her eyes roved, searching the storage area and the things it held in it, most of them covered in white cloth.

She paused as her eyes lit upon an old wooden vanity, sitting in pristine condition amongst all of the old.

Ara stared at it, surprised at the complete lack of dust and mire, compared to everything else around it.

The glass of the mirror looked to have been recently wiped clean, and the wood of the vanity just varnished. A beautiful dark oak, sparkling under the light that shone from the previous room.

“Well…I’ll be…” Ellie whispered. “Who would put such a beautiful thing like that in here?”

Ara tilted her head, heart sounding in her chest as her breathing slowed. It felt as though…a string were slowly pulling her toward the mirror. Like a line, attached to her fingertips.

She stepped toward it, hand outstretched. The glass…so pure…

As if she could almost go through it.

She touched it, and…It sparked to life.

(@freedomwriter76 THIS WORKS PERFECTLY BECAUSE I JUST REALIZED Ellie’s husband is now WITH november! So the mirror just automatically starts showing them that scene because it’s both November and Erich there! Also u can do Ellie’s pov next if u like 😊)

@godlyfantasy12. Good riddance, Paxton’s family! XD

                Ellie

Arabella touched the mirror, and it…changed. Right before their eyes.

Ellie gasped, just as the mirror seemed to…light up for a minute, almost like blinking, before going back to normal, an image of people coming on it.

People who were…talking…and looked like they were in a castle.

                And Ellie gasped again.

That uniform…that head of bright blonde hair…and, well, the crossed arms and annoyed look on his face.

She’d know her husband from miles away.

                “That…that’s Erich…my husband…and others he knows and works with…”

                “And that’s November!”

                Ellie turned to Arabella.

Gahhhh!!! Hans is here? *Mutters darkly under breath*

And um…what will Hans think about their rather Russian accent and manners?

                  Zlatan

Some in this group were young, Jesyk especially, but he’d learned years ago that age didn’t mean much in war. And something about this man, this Colonel Baumann, set him on edge. Still, this other man, Fin, seemed alright, and appeared to be on good terms with Riker.

Zlatan stepped slightly forward so that he stood between Hans and the others, moving in a way that kept Riker and November close. He straightened his shoulders against the fire of his back and folded his hands over his sword hilt, locking eyes with Hans for a moment. He didn’t like what he saw.

                  “Good to see you, Riker.”

Zlatan’s face was stone and ice.

@mineralizedwritings oooh boy. He’s gonna scare the living DAYLIGHTS out of paxton…. @loopylin @lightoverdarkness6

                    Paxton

Paxton gripped his arms around Luna, burying his face into her side, along with Hope. He felt as Luna’s arms wrapped around him as well, holding him close as the man who had suddenly jumped out began to yell at them.

Paxton whimpered, shivers running down his spine.

What had he done wrong? What did he do? He…he’d just been walking…he…he hadn’t meant to do anything bad…

(there is a flashback here but there’s nothing really in it 😊)

And what do you think you’re doing here?”

Paxton frowned, gripping the book he’d been found with close to his chest. He wasn’t supposed to be in here…he…he knew he wasn’t…but-he just couldn’t help himself.

                    “I-I…”

Well?” His mother stared at where he sat on the ground, his knees curled into his chest. Paxton sniffed, shaking his head.

He didn’t have a good enough answer. Not one that would please her anyway.

She sighed, shaking her head. “What am I going to do with you?” She reached down, gently stroking his cheek. She straightened, hand outstretched. Paxton shakily placed the book in her palm. “Good.” She turned to the door, “Edrich, Aramis, please take your brother to his room.”

His brothers looked down at him with smiles. “Yes, mother.”

                    (end of flashback)

“Paxton…Pax, it’s alright,” Luna whispered, her voice whispering in his ear. She laid her head on his, and then, slowly began to hum.

It was the same song from earlier…the one she said she’d learned from her mother.

Paxton felt as his heart rate slowly decreased, shoulders relaxing. He let out a small breath, leaning into Luna’s embrace as she continued to hum her song into his ear.

He knew that she was using her ability…connecting with him to be able to help. To understand. He could…could feel it.

The subtle calming inside of him…the gentle waves.

                    But, he didn’t mind.

Even though a part of him was telling him to…saying that it was too much like his mother, and her Siren Call.

                    But, he knew…knew that…Luna wouldn’t hurt him.

                    Not like his mother had.

                    He…he trusted Luna.

Slowly, Luna lifted her head, smiling at him. Paxton returned it, though his was a bit smaller.

Luna’s eyes turned then to the man who had appeared, her expression changing from peaceful to angry. She glared.

“And who exactly are you!” She asked, still holding Paxton close.

I should probably do some of my other charries, even if they’re not with anyone at the moment…XD

                      Himmler

                      He just…couldn’t take it anymore.

There was only so much family he could take.

But he prayed, constantly, that God would keep Leo safe.

But Himmler couldn’t take it anymore.

He set Edy down and instead grabbed her hands, walking down the hall, away from his family.

“Daddy, where we going?” Edy asked quietly, her pigtail braids bouncing as she skipped beside him.

Himmler looked down at his youngest daughter and smiled softly. “We’re going to find Camille, sweetheart. Don’t you want your sister?”

                      “Mmhmm!”

Himmler smiled and squeezed her hand.

He’d find his other daughter. “Oh Lord, just help me get my girls out of this place.”

(I don’t feel like being Adolphus/Hilda/Dietrich right now…they’re just out walking around somewhere, lol. xD)

                      Leo

Almost every step sent pain. But Leo pushed himself forward, following his father and stepmother up the dark staircase.

How had he lost his brothers again!?

“Leo, keep up.” Frida ordered, glancing back for one minute.

“Yes, Mutti.” He replied quietly, pushing himself faster, which sent more pain.

                      But he pushed himself more.

He wanted the pain. No, he craved the pain.

It made him forget, if only for a moment, how much of a failure he was.

He pushed himself harder….which was a mistake.

Surreal pain travelled from his side, and Leo collapsed onto the stairs.

                      Now he couldn’t move.

                      He’d pushed himself too hard.

                      Stupid. Stupid. Stupid!

Leo groaned, just as he felt himself be lifted and carried up the final, few steps.

He was laid down, which caused more pain and another groan.

Felix got down on one knee beside him. “Leo, what in the world is wrong?” He asked.

And for the smallest of moments, Leo saw concern fill his Father’s eyes.

(I’ll have to finish this RP another day or maybe later, but I gotta go eat Dinner!)

                        Arabella

“He’s my best friend,” Ara stared at the ginger’s face in the mirror, thankful he was safe, especially after what had happened before they’d been separated. And he was with Zlatan and Vulkasin! She smiled, turning to Ellie. “Have been since we were five.”

“How splendid,” Ellie smiled sweetly. “Looks like they’re together then! Perhaps we can find them using this mirror?” Ellie’s eyes lit with hope. A hope Ara didn’t want to extinguish.

Ara glanced at the mirror. She looked at the surroundings of where November and Erich were. It seemed just like every other place in the castle. A stone hallway, lit by windows, and occasionally torches. She frowned. She wished there were some sort of marker to help them…

“Perhaps…but I’m not sure how.” She admitted. Ellie’s brows furrowed, the hope fading. Ara placed a hand on the older’s shoulder, “But, at least we know they’re safe.”

Ellie smiled at this and nodded. “Yes, of course. That’s most important.”

“I am wondering though…if this mirror would show us any of my other friends…” Ara stared at the mirror, still focused on the image of November. His head turned, and…for a moment he seemed to look directly into wherever the Mirror was. Ara smiled.

                        Ellie nodded, “We could try!”

                        “But…how?”

“Well…you just touched it last time. Perhaps think of who you wish and touch it?”

Ara nodded. She closed her eyes, all of her friends faces passing before her minds eye.

                        But…which one?

She sucked in a deep breathe. Already knowing.

She reached out a finger, touching the mirror once again, and in a flash, the image changed.

A group of young people took over the scene. Along with an older man, who didn’t seem very pleased. He was yelling, and one of the boys seemed to be trying to appease him.

Ara’s brows furrowed at the sight, her eyes roving the scene until…

Her heart wrenched as her hand began to throb, the new blood flowing In her veins. Forever entwining her heart and soul together with the little boy in the scene.

                        Her Brother.

“Paxton,” She whispered, unable to help the tear that trickled down her cheek. It was the first time she’d seen him since entering this castle.

And after hearing what Hitchens had to him…

She clenched her fists against her sides.

Her heart longed to hold him. For now, they were bound by blood. Siblings, not just in heart and spirit.

                        But forever, by blood.

She touched the mirror, a small smile on her lips as she watched the little boy.

                        Luna was with him! Ah…he wasn’t alone…

She could’ve cried with joy to know he wasn’t alone…

                        Luna was embracing him…holding him…

And, for an instant, Ara wished it was herself there. But, she knew Luna would care for her brother. He was in good hands.

Ara stepped back with a sigh, wiping her eyes. She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to Ellie, whose eyes were also glassy.

Ara let out a small, choked laugh. “Ah…I-I apologize…my brother, you see.” Ellie nodded her understanding.

Ara then checked on her other friends. She was pleased to find all of them together, and doing well, though she did shed quite a few tears at the sight of Nyx’s injuries. Thankfully, the kit seemed to be the same as always…and…well…now all that was left was for Ara to find them all.

She turned back to Ellie with a sigh and a smile. “I’m thankful they’re all safe.”

“And who exactly are you!”Luna declares, holding Paxton close to her side.

“I’m Easton. I’ve traveled far to get here, to defend the castle of my heritage.” Easton straightens, standing in the opening of the exit.

“I mean to eventually empty this castle to be reclaimed, by me that is.” He points to himself, then shoots a tense gaze at Tauren who flinches. He scoots warily down the wall towards Lesli.

“Although perhaps… a couple young people…” He raises a eyebrow at Luna’s unusual appearance. “Could be of help?”

“I will leave you all alone, for awhile, under one condition.” He glares at the collection of people. “Tell me the location of this so called ‘dragon’ so I may rid my castle of it’s existence.”

“I figure it’s best to tackle the biggest problem first.” He pauses. “If you do not know where it is, you may find it for me.”

                            Tauren looks over at Lesli.

The dragon… where was it last?

                            Lesli furrows her brow.

What a coward! He can look for the dragon himself.

How I wish I could just yell in his face how dumb it is to make teenagers search for a dragon you don’t want to…

than expect to be brave enough to fight it alone?!

"And so I left this world just as I had entered it. Confused."

                                Luna

Luna stared at the man, lips pursing. She glanced at Paxton, who was still a bit flushed, but otherwise feeling better.

                                She furrowed her brows, thinking.

She didn’t care for the dragon, that much was true…but sending this man to the dragon? Purposely? Knowing he was trying to kill it?

                                She…couldn’t do that.

The Light One…that wasn’t His way, was it? No…

She released Paxton gently, making him look at her with wide eyes, gripping her tighter. She smiled at him.

“it’s alright. Trust me,” she whispered. She slowly helped him release her and then stepped forward, making sure he stayed put.

If anything went wrong, though hopefully this man wouldn’t lash out, she didn’t want Paxton near.

She stepped up to the man, Easton, and stood tall. “I’m sorry sir. But first, we don’t know where the dragon is, and secondly, if we did,” she sucked in a breath, “We would not tell you where it was.”

The man glared at her, eyes fiery. She clasped her shaky hands together. Would the man lash out?

The last thing she wanted was confrontation…but…

She’d learned that some people in the world above the caverns wasn’t that…friendly.
