“Did anyone hear that?” Zlatan asked.
“I did.” Nyx hissed.
Crosshair nodded. “So did I.” He looked at Jareth. “Stay close.”
Crow looked around and hissed also, for once not at Nyx.
Flicking his rifle’s safety measures off again, Crosshair aimed it in the direction of the sound. “Show yourself,” he snarled, “and be warned that I’d be able to shoot you with one hand tied behind my back if I needed to.”
Where'd I get ya this time? The liver? The kidney? I'm runnin' outta places to put holes in ya.

Fork the GorkI’m really curious about the connection between November and Corvina. What is it? How did it form?

Corvina came to an abrupt halt. Him and his weird analogies… why couldn’t he grasp that fish? He groaned and tried to hide his face with his palm.
“Well, okay then.” He could feel her eyes roll.
“I mean, not a real fish,” he stammered, trying to climb out of his embarrassment. “A figurative fish. A slippery fish… what I’m trying to say is I don’t know why I’m following you. Not yet, anyway.”
He looked ahead at the group they were following. There was some commotion. “Corvina.” He lowered his voice. “What’s going on with that boy you’re following.”

Bucky had fled with the little maid, finally pursuaded by her father, and perhaps his own sense of honor.
The two men left prepared to fight for love and life. It should be an even battle, but it depended too much on chance.
The fly didn’t like to leave things to chance.
A shadow looked up behind Hans.
“You warped epitome of human filth!” A fist flew out, sending Hans on a direct decent to the floor. The old man spun on Viola, his verbal artillery unabated.
“You put that thing down, young miss!” The weapon was wrenched from her hands and flung into the corner where is promptly discharged. The sound echoed in the chamber, mixed with a suprised yelp.
“There now, what were you thinking, toting that thing about?” He shook his finger in her face.
The fly stormed away.

ha! I get it. Clever.
The Fly On the Wall means it’s not from any specific character’s perspective. It is the “fly on the wall” outside of the action looking in at what is happening. Spectating.

He commanded and a captain flung open a door.
May the Dorwinian rule continue forever!
Ocran would find these trespassers, these spies, we’re they the mightiest Voyagers that ever sailed through foggy days!
And it would appear, he’d find them now.
Laughing voices filtered around a far bend. Voices of children and young people.
He drew his sword and quickened his step. His ten men fell into step behind him.
The voices fell suddenly silent. Perhaps they had sensed their impending fate.
“Then a new voice, much harder than the first “Show yourself, and be warned that I’d be able to shoot you with one hand tied behind my back if I needed to.”
“And you’d be a fool if you did.” Ocran smirked and nodded to his captain. “Go on.”
The man set his face and turned toward the enemy.
They rounded the corner with a shout.
