January 19, 2018 at 4:44 pm #60758@dekreel Okaaay. Fine. 🙂
Well, Patty is touring Europe with her parents and they let her stay with a friend she made called Lady Catherine something-or-other. She has a real title. She is something like thirty, a widow. Patty is seventeen, and hasn’t made her debut yet, so she is considered a little girl. However, when her parents send her to Lady Kitty’s house, her trunk gets lost, and she doesn’t have any clothes to wear for dinner. She can’t wear her traveling dress, and she doesn’t want to stay in her room because that would be no fun. So Lady Kitty lets Patty wear one of her sophisticated, grown-up gowns to dinner. They don’t tell anyone she is young, and she automatically changes her demeanor to fit the gown, so everyone thinks she is twenty-five! 🙂
Anyway, a Lord falls in love with her and takes her out to the garden to propose. She is a little frightened, but also thinks it is hilarious, because he wouldn’t pay any attention to her except for the grown-up gown. So she tells him wait until tomorrow, and see if he changes his mind – because she knows her trunk will be there by then. Of course, he says he’ll never change his mind, but that he’ll let her go back inside if she will call him by his first name once. “Why can’t I say it twice?” she asks, her sense of humor taking over. “You little witch! Now I won’t let you go until you have said it twice!” he says, so she says quickly “Sylvester – Sylvester!” and runs back into the house. The next day he realizes what happened and they all laugh about it, and when she tells her parents they laugh too, especially when she keeps repeating “Sylvester – Sylvester!”
The story sounds pretty funny when I write it, but it’s even funnier in the book because there are even more funny things that happen before it is all over. 🙂

January 20, 2018 at 11:25 am #60821@skredder Ooh, digital art! That’s cool 🙂
do you find digital art to be easier or harder for you?
Also, cute drawing!I can't believe it's not butter!
January 20, 2018 at 11:40 am #60822@itisastarrynight Thank you!
Well, I find coloring with a digital art program easier than other methods, but it is lacking in the personal touch I think. I cannot draw digital art because I only use a mouse. I drew this with pen and paper.

January 22, 2018 at 6:45 pm #60987I have a girl that needs to be drawn.
Precium, or just Cium
four years old, chubby round face, bright smile with on dimple, green eyes, wild wispy curly golden blonde hair that frames her face. a plain dress that reaches just below her knees and a woolen cloak that is about an inch longer with a hood usually off.
shy, but brave and kind. later on she is outgoing, but in the beginning she is a kind out outcast because she was a foundling.
