And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who couldn't hear the music

I should really get to illustrating something for one of my books, but I’m also reorganizing my room in the afternoon and don’t feel like it when I’m done….. XD
Hence… randomness.

January 21, 2026 at 10:50 am #210002@ellette-giselle that’s really pretty! Your drawings style there is a bit like my friend’s.

January 21, 2026 at 10:59 am #210004January 21, 2026 at 10:59 am #210005That’s what my drawings look like when I’m just playing around with things. (like motion of clothing in this one) It’s just a super rough sketch and I didn’t feel like drawing her face.
Thanks!!!

January 21, 2026 at 11:32 am #210013Thanks! I’m glad you like it! Huge ears can be cute, but these elves aren’t rabbits, lol. I also really like doing them anatomically correct, since some people actually have ears like that. (For instance, an aunt of mine…)
Hooray!! Lol. I’m glad it gives that effect for you. It’s really different from elvish hairstyles inspired by the LotR movies and not only in length. In a way it’s a little closer to Victorian styles etc. So yeah. Glad you like it.
*Feels immensely complemented* Thanks!!
You have listened to fears, child. Come, let me breathe on you... Are you brave again? -Aslan
January 21, 2026 at 11:34 am #210014Aw, it’s lovely. I love the drama caught in her movements. And I want a skirt like that. XD

Thank you for ze complements to ze wuffers. I must confess though, I did follow a tutorial directly for the outline.
You can draw your own wuffers here: https://monikazagrobelna.com/2019/07/26/sketchbook-original-how-to-draw-wolves/
Oh nice!! Watercolor pencils? Are you going to brush them? (It didn’t look like you had from the picture… but I may be wrong)
I didn’t brush them because I wanted to keep the texture of the fur. But I might do the eye.
Sometimes it is necessary to paint the sky black in order to see the stars.
January 21, 2026 at 2:02 pm #210045I get that. Watercolor pencils have a certain tone that you just can’t get with normal ones, brushed or not.

January 21, 2026 at 2:03 pm #210046Your drawing looks good, although I do find the bright pupils odd. Is this because he isn’t human?

January 21, 2026 at 2:05 pm #210048That drawing looks very good. A bit of a different style that what I’ve seen you use. It flows well together

January 21, 2026 at 2:07 pm #210049I do want to experiment more with it. There a couple of different ways to use them that I haven’t tried much yet, like putting the water down first, or taking the brush, collecting the color from the tip of the pencil, and then directly painting the paper with that.
