Warning: The unicorn one must be observed with sunglasses.
lololol, since when did you become an artist all of the sudden?!

January 16, 2026 at 9:53 pm #209917January 17, 2026 at 4:06 am #209919Da! I have the day off today, so I’ll draw something new. I’ve actually started doing a visual journal, which I highly recommend doing, but the last page was a little too… IDK. Not personal, exactly, but I think I’ll make something new for the circle. Maybe. I played with abstract stuff, kinda sectioned the page out like a modern art enthusiast, so it’s turned out pretty cool. Still, I think I’ll make something new for today.
I actually love those really sketchy pen and ink styles that have the multiple lines sort of lightly done before the artist settled on the one he/she liked. You know the ones I’m talking about?
Yep! I like it too, if it’s actually supposed to be that way. (We should swap Pinterest accounts sonetime. I have two boards on art that I use as reference or just like.) It is oddly freeing to sketch in ink. Nothing will go away, so you just embrace the mess and go for capturing the aesthetic of the scene more than accuracy. Like writing with an app that keeps you from going back and fixing things. (In my experience. There are some artists out there that can do both perfect accuracy and aesthetic with that style. Super cool skills. XD)

January 17, 2026 at 4:14 am #209920I’m getting flash backs to our conversation about Nicolai Fechin’s portraits. XD
I like these portraits of yours. This method of shading and slightly impressionistic style is working out really well.
And if course the unicorn. How can we bypass the unicorn. ??
I like him! A great rendering worthy of accolade. I hope the strategy works and no eardrums are damaged.

January 19, 2026 at 3:50 am #209939I’ll try to get it in today.
Lolllll. That’s relatable. I have most of my boards hidden, but I needed some public for a background check. *Shrug* I love all the options for privacy and data security though. Nicer than most other forms of social media I’d encountered.

My sister got me some nice watercolour pencils for Christmas!
Sometimes it is necessary to paint the sky black in order to see the stars.
January 19, 2026 at 3:45 pm #209956@linus-smallprint how pretty!

A little late, but here it is! I’ve been practicing the 3/4 view, and I think this is the best result so far. He doesn’t look like a guppy! XD Not that the other results look terrible, they just had a fishiness to their faces that wasn’t totally human, lol.
It’s Onnendel. Apparently he resembles Peter Pevensie to my sister. XD Also expirementing with hair styles…

January 20, 2026 at 4:27 am #209961The wolf looks good!
New pencils? That’s awesome! The color saturation is great in your drawing. Vivid, but still soft and storybookish in his fur detailing and the trees. Anyway, it looks good.

January 20, 2026 at 9:07 am #209963@elishavet-pidyon oh that looks amazing!
I like how his ears have a subtle point, not a huge-sticking-out one like a lot of fantasy humanoid types have.

January 20, 2026 at 9:22 am #209964Oh my word! I love it!! And keep that hair style. It really goes with what we were talking about. Elves having long hair as a distinction and all. Somehow it still gives that feel, even though it’s short. I really like it and if you change it I shall be mad. lol
Oh nice!! Watercolor pencils? Are you going to brush them? (It didn’t look like you had from the picture… but I may be wrong)
Anyhow, love the wolf!
