Yes…. *gets a ruler* yes, they are a little uneven, but I never would have seen it if you hadn’t said it. I guess next time, lay down a ruler on the pencil sketch to check that, lol. ?
But really! This looks really good! I like it a lot! Though I have to say I prefer some of the other pics of him I’ve seen better….. I think it’s the hair! It just doesn’t look as much like him to me. But then again, this is the first time i’ve seen it combed. If you do more of him like this, I’ll get it into my brain. XD

Same. Don’t worry, he will keep his ruffled, unruly hair for most of the book. This drawing was supposed to be from his time with Jenna.
It does kinda hover in the area where you know who it is, but it doesn’t exactly look like him because of the hair XD

I wouldn’t worry about the earlobes. Asymmetry is a part of nature. Mine are uneven too! So it wasn’t a mistake, just accuracy. 😉

Yeah… Idk how to explain it, when I think of him he feels like the teddy bear of my teenage years or something ; ( I just love him so much and he brought me so much comfort but I don’t feel excited to draw him like I used to
Aw thanks I’ll see if I can. As my style develops more into something I would want to use professionally I get a bit more sensitive about posting it online which is part of why I haven’t posted in awhile. I’m trying to download glaze right now to protect my artwork, we’ll see if I can get it running : )

I do understand that. He’s a great character, but different seasons of life call for different kinds of inspiration/expression. I’ve got a few like that. Have you worked more on Flit’s project? (I don’t think I spelled that right. The translucent bird boy. That was a project if yours, right? )
That is a valid reason not to post. I haven’t heard of Glaze before. How does it work? Are you looking at doing art more professionally/doing it already?
I’m doing well! A little tired but not all in a bad way. I’ve started multiple life/career stuff but they’ve stacked up on each other and are stepping on each other’s toes. So, it’s been a little crazy. Just the semester of half-done projects as I realize my need to learn how to schedule, I guess. But I just wrote an over 2,000 word essay and have another due Wednesday along with final exams, then these classes will be over for a while. So I’ll be doing great Thursday, lol!

Yeah totally! Yes I still work on Flax a bit, he’s the character I draw the most other than doing fanart. I’ve just recently finished one of him and I’m going to try to glaze it tonight. Apparently it can take 40+ minutes and my computer is slow.
Yeah so basically it adds data to the image that only the ai can see. Because people (instagram also ugh) use images to train ai software to make art without consent, your unique style can be stolen and replicated. It only really happens to bigger artists, but the reason you can ask an ai to make a drawing in ___ artists style is because of all that information it’s gathered on that style. The information added to the image by glaze confuses what the ai recognizes the image as, making the product incorrect. It has to be updated to keep up with new technology and does change the appearance of the image slightly but I think it gives some peace of mind.
Wow good for you! That sounds fun, although a bit tiring. Starting new things is always good. Oh yes. I actually love scheduling lol! Getting a pen that matches your planner makes it more fun and bearable : )
I’m really tired all the time, I want to say I’m doing ok but I’m going through a really hard time. Basically long story short I’m trying to get out of a bad home situation, while also trying to recover from the shock of realizing what was happening in my home about 6 months ago. My health is also very poor due to the amount of stress I’m under so I’m not in a position to be able to work. I’m talking to my aunt some about moving to live with her which is really nerve racking for me too. Just trying to take it one day at a time have some fun where I can I guess.
