Usually it’s just a single little character, but this time I decided to do a Baron Chronicles theme. I’m really proud of how Lady Wind came out. There are some pieces I don’t like (the Dragon, Faren, Baron’s nose specifically) but overall, I’m kinda proud of it. It took me over 7 hours for this tiny 3by5 envelope, but I think it was worth it.

The stripes and slitted eye on the cat cowboy are making me think “oh, a Changeling” lol
(even though he’d most likely be an Ailurid cause y’know, cat. Although being a hybrid isn’t out of the question.)
And the envelope is so cool!! I actually like the dragon.

Believe it or not, that entire thing is my Ohuhu alcohol-based markers (highly recommend), besides the fine liner pen used for the lines. A good portion of my 7+ hours was blending Lady Wind XD. I’m actually kinda happy you thought it was watercolor, cuz that means my blending is good! It was a mentally painful process.
I can put down some watercolor down on my envelopes, but it has to be very little, and even that warps.

I’ve been considering honing my skills and starting to sell my art so I can publish The Baron Chronicles. We’ll see. You’ll be the first to know if I do eventually do so.

I have some brush/chisel tips, but I mostly use my fine/chisel ones (of which I have 320, because my dad apparently likes spoiling me on Christmas). The fine tips are very nice for details, the chisel for large spaces, but many people prefer the brush nibs since they are easier to blend. Having used all three, I can confirm the brush nibs are easier to blend, but it’s not impossible to blend fine or chisel nibs, you just need to find the right technique.
Also, I know they’re expensive, but they’re cheap for alcohol markers, especially considering the quality. The best of the best you can get in alcohol markers are Copics, but they’re $5 per marker. Ohuhu’s are around $1, but they’re almost as good as Copics.
