welp I got my act together and I drew two of the main characters of that crossover AU I was talking about!!
I didn’t draw a background but I’m assuming they’re surrounded by the villain’s forces. The Blue Jay/Gecko hybrid (Jayko?) over there is not part of the scene and was just for fun cause I love that universe’s combo animals.
The female character’s an earthbender (if it wasn’t clear from the blades hovering in the air above her hand, I didn’t get to look up much of their actual fighting poses so I just did this); she’s also the twin sister of the guy who’s the avatar and….is probably a bit jealous of him but doesn’t show it cause she’s been committed to protecting him forever. The male character (who’s not her brother, this is a different character), I was planning to make him a waterbender at first but then I decided air fit him and his fighting style better. Although he completely hates it and wishes he was something else. Long story.
Their clothes are probably from the wrong tribes/kingdoms/whatever, but idk they’re what my references looked like.

Those horse hooves look very good. I like the perspective and the shading in the picture. You also have a good sense of motion in there.
Sometimes it is necessary to paint the sky black in order to see the stars.
