Great! Perfect!
I’ll see what I can do.
I often draw in the evenings while hanging out with my big brother, and all I can think about rn is what he’s gonna say when he sees what I’m drawing, and now I’m gonna explain myself lol
When your charries have it so rough you are learning how to color dark under eyes...
January 18, 2025 at 9:32 pm #195220Especially Sniper’s and Demo’s, which I’ll show later if you want.
I’m intrigued
Also, I respect your bravery to post old drawings. I tried to do that once…and I backed out before pushing the “submit” button

January 18, 2025 at 9:37 pm #195221@rae AHAHAHAHAHAHA
That’s too funny.
My parents know I love to make creatures and honestly? They don’t mind. But my dad loves sci-fi books so that’s probably why. My brother thinks some of them are weird, but he loves others. He has his own, too, and they’re really cool.
They don’t know much about Soldier as a character (I haven’t shared the fic with them yet) but they know the “teleporting bread” quote thanks to how much my brother repeats memes around the house lol

January 18, 2025 at 9:39 pm #195223@rae lol I don’t mind posting old drawings, but only to a point. Before 2021 most were kinda cringey. There were a few gems though.
Anything TF2 related is from 2024 though so….
but anyway, here’s Demo with his wings spread and his sword in hand!

January 18, 2025 at 9:41 pm #195224And Sniper! hehe

I think he was one of the first ones I drew. I have far better drawings of him but I still love this one, it’s just something about it.Gerald handled that. You don’t question Gerald. (if you know you know)
January 18, 2025 at 9:43 pm #195225Looking at it, I can see his shoulders are wonky and his arms aren’t quite posed right, but his little smirk and the way I did his talons make up for it for some reason.
It’s….kinda cute.
And I’m saying that about a character who can literally bite through your bones if he wanted to and can shoot you from five miles off.
what is wrong with me lolGerald handled that. You don’t question Gerald. (if you know you know)
January 18, 2025 at 10:30 pm #195246It’s okay Keilah. The other day I called one of my characters something like “my little wolf child” and “baby”.
My older sister looked at me with this blank stare and asked who I was talking about because “Isn’t he the soldier?”
A cup of tea is cheaper than therapy.
January 19, 2025 at 10:41 am #195324Yeah, I like the Sniper one.

I do very similar things lol

lolllll
I’ve never called one of my charries “baby.” It was honestly a huge stretch to call the one above “kinda cute” and I think part of that had to do with my typing that up at like 9:30 at night and being tired…..lol
I tend to think “Is he the kind of character that, if I called him ‘baby’ or some other endearing but slightly belittling term to his face, would try to bite my head off?” And usually the answer is “yes” so I don’t.
They get to keep their dignity, most of the time.

January 19, 2025 at 9:01 pm #195377@the_lost-journal Here’s another one of my comic overdraws!

This one’s not as good as my other ones but it works. I kinda like the shading on his tail.

January 19, 2025 at 10:16 pm #195381And here’s another one!

Sniper and his father—at least, his biological father anyway. Who’s admittedly not a good person, and that’s compared to Sniper himself. But he has cool blue scales.
Some facts about them cause that’s always fun:
-Sniper and his dad are the only ones in the entire story universe with that scale marking on their wrists, and they have it on opposite arms.
-The older an Argonite is, the duller the scutes on their tails become, and the more the stripes on the tail have a likelihood of fading away. Since he’s fairly young, Sniper’s scutes are sharply angled and his tail stripes are obvious (you can just barely see his tail in the lower right corner), whereas his father’s scutes are more blunt and his stripes are hard to see.
