Yes, I love those books. But I don’t like the Royal Ranger (starting at book twelve and going onward.) He kinda ruined the story when he did that.

He actually looks a lot like I imagine him. Wow. That’s very good.
Yeah, I haven’t finished the series either. Mostly because he killed my favorite character in the end and it didn’t even make sense. He should have just let her be and maybe taken the chance to write a healthy role model for relationships instead of taking the easy easy out and just removing her after it got serious.
Anyway. My sister and I once mixed our fanfiction (which plays on the different kinds of “Rangers” in so many series) with a friend’s (which loops an assassin guild and Halt’s past together into a fantastic young lady who scares everyone except her dad.) The result was a spectacular storyline that actually fit the original series quite well.

Ugh. I just don’t like the fact that he killed Alice (and that he made pretty much all of his girls into the exact same fake “strong” characters, no matter how original their first introduction was. Take Cassandra for instance…)
