As my imagination for Turin was off, your illustration of Alan is off. The clothing is wrong. I base my clothing on the mid-late 19th-century styles and add some fantasy elements. This Alan looks like he came out of Lord of the Rings! Alan wears a scarf, not a cape! Also, the hair! This does not look black and feathery! It does not have a random poof at the front! (Although, this could be Alan if he had never used magic.)
On the other hand, I am surprised to see someone drawing my character without being prompted! This man looks like he likes drawing attention to himself as a hero, just like Alan. I can see how this could end up being how you envision my protagonist. Thank you for the drawing, even if it is not how I want you to imagine Alan.
