I am so excited. XD I made working covers for all three volumes of Heirs of Ashes. And found a really bad quality image of my current reference illustration for Viktor and Alyona.

My first one had reeaaalllyyy small ears….

Now I should actually try to write that first volume….

Yes, they are wonderful books! It was actually Green Ember that made me want to write whole stories instead of random stuff for school.

What feels like a million sketches, I finally sat down Wednesday morning and drew le for 5 1/2 hours! And somehow the charrie that gave me the most trouble to draw, became the best drawing I have ever made in my life.

If there’s something glaringly wrong with it, so that it doesn’t look like Leo (I am painfully aware of the eyes and mouth, but I still hope it’s ok) please tell me. I might be able to redraw the picture, just can’t promise when I’ll have it done.

Also, I apologize for the wait, and I did have the entirety of the Star of David on his shirt in the original, but the scanner cut it off since my paper was too big apparently. And I did end up ditching the jacket, since it was going to hide some features that I felt like should be there, otherwise it would look bad.

Oka, enough talking. I present my final (hopefully) drawing of Leo!

For a realistic drawing, the eyes/mouth aren’t terrible. They’re not perfectly in line with the rest of the head, but they’re still better than a lot of what I’ve seen.
