Yeah, unfortunately, that’s just how the school system has taught us to learn math. It should be taught in a way where the student needs to think creatively on how to solve a problem. Then your not far from understanding proofs and stuff, where the real math is. If it was taught that way though, I still get that it’s not everyone’s thing. I’m glad that your doing well in your class though!

Because I never got a chance to understand the basics of what they are built off of, I tend to think of them as the one question I’ll get wrong on the quiz.. but I still get an 80% and it’s only five points, so yeah I don’t bother LOL. Just the way it works these days I guess… I do appreciate your love of math though. My mom was a college math teacher 😉
yeah, I wouldn’t say I’m doing well but I always get it under control before the end of the semester. XD

I have literally no idea! XD I just remember when she couldn’t find somebody to watch my sis and I so we sat in the back of the classroom doing sticker gems lol. The students looked so big and scary 😬 Oh and her college had cool chairs to spin in. That was kinda all that mattered to me at the time so it’s all I remember. I do know she told me she was a pretty strict teacher and she caught somebody cheating once (answers written on hand).

I was homeschooled until 2nd grade because it seemed like I had dyslexia, then I did public for a bit and now I’m online.

Yeah! I really enjoy homeschool. I’m really the independent learner type, so I’ve been able to really take control of my learning with homeschool. The only thing is the social aspect, but there are many ways to still meet with other people my age and stuff.
