Guyyyyyyyys have you seen the latest trailer?
*deep breath* Keep in mind that this is a trailer and bound to be a bit misleading for the sake of scaring the audience, but I… will just say that I am hopeful. A lot more hopeful than I have been.

October 11, 2017 at 12:39 pm #47922Sorry, I was being dramatic there.
Let me put this in cool, rational terms. This is the best thing since The Count of Monte Cristo. 🙂

October 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm #47929@Daeus I KNOW. I’m just… trying to play it cool here.
Trying.
Tryyyyinnnnggggg…
*deep breath* If I get too excited I’ll be let down. So. I shall not get excited.
*faints from excitement*
Okay, so the one big takeaway from this trailer… I think… NO PROMISES, BUT I THINK—! I could see a relationship between them working.
My biggest problem was that I was so scared they were going to use Rey to pull him to the Light side, which would have been downright lazy of them and ridiculously anticlimactic development-wise. Just… bad. Nothing good about it.
But now… again, being cautious because yeah reasons… now it looks like they could actually be taking advantage of the space they have (no pun intended) to do the opposite and make the development a lot more complex.
Because… it looks like she may not be pulling him up, but he may be pulling her down.
This is a very good thing. So much more depth. And I think I might just die of pure joy if they end up meeting each other halfway and having to battle the decision out side-by-side.Please pass the smelling salts someone, before I faint again.
October 11, 2017 at 1:02 pm #47930@That_Writer_Girl_99 From that, I take it, you’re not a Kylo Ren hater? 😀
October 11, 2017 at 1:04 pm #47931NOT TO MENTION THERE IS ‘REDEMPTION ARC’ WRITTEN ALL OVER THIS THING.
Seriously— his denial? His frantic craze to bury the past? It should have already been buried. He shouldn’t be having to struggle through this again.
But he is.
Which means…*explodes from contained excitement and dies*
October 11, 2017 at 1:07 pm #47932@Kate-Flournoy That sounds very good. Him pulling her down and them eventually meeting in the middle.
That would be WOW.
Here are the smelling salts. *ss* Also—just being the voice of cheer here—you’re going to be living in a wheelchair after the seizure you have either way. If it does OR doesn’t happen that way. So just be prepared.
But what happens to Finn in this case??
October 11, 2017 at 1:09 pm #47933Oh wait, you died. Oh well.
*bawls* I wasn’t ready for you to do that yet, Kate. :'(
October 11, 2017 at 1:11 pm #47934@Emma-Flournoy he finds a nice sweet mechanic who also comes from a hard past and isn’t too high or great for him. *nods*
October 11, 2017 at 1:11 pm #47935Ehh… I revived. 😛
October 11, 2017 at 1:18 pm #47936@Kate-Flournoy Ugh. :/
What about Leia? She has to die somehow, doesn’t she?
October 11, 2017 at 1:22 pm #47937@Emma-Flournoy of course. But since her son obviously couldn’t make himself do it— *gross sobbing*— I’m not quite clear on how, yet.
