@xonos-darkgrate I’m pretty sure most publishers will technically except writers of any age, though you may have to get a cosigner if you’re under 18 or something like that. I don’t know. I certainly know that some publishers do accept younger writers. Now, if they know that you’re younger, you will probably have a harder time convincing them to…[Read more]

@xonos-darkgrate I would absolutely love it if you read those two samples, and tell me the pros and cons of each one. I will leave you to it, Sir Magistrate of the RS. (hehe, no one here knows what that is…)

@That_Writer_Girl_99 I see the point. What Kate said about character dynamic-ness and duplicity is right true though.
And honestly though, I think a bunch of my dislike for Luke comes from the bad acting. That he’s really poorly acted makes him a whole lot less…good in every way as a character. Which isn’t Luke’s fault, it’s Mark Hamil’s. XD If…[Read more] -

Don’t worry @xonos-darkgrate @salome01w4g, I don’t like Leia either.
@That_Writer_Girl_99 Do you remember, when you’d just recently joined the forum, before you’d even made your introductory topic, you were on some other topic and one of the first things we talked about was Luke? I said I didn’t like him and you said he was one of your…[Read more]

Yippee!!!!! 😀@perfectfifths
Hmmm…… my favorite *ducks again because my brother hates him* was Solo.
Yeah it is sad….. I remember watching the trailer and being like who are these old people and then realizing it was them I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! What happened!!!! -

I like Leia, but everyone’s entitled to their opinions. 😉 Luke was definitely my favourite in the original trilogy though. I find it a bit sad seeing them all 30 years later, and so old like that.

@ethryndal @xonos-darkgrate @that_writer_girl_99 Ah the thread is still alive! Does anyone else feel kinda awkward when no one’s responded for a while and that last post was yours? XD
Luke is scared, because, I’m guessing, Rey is showing as much strength in the Force as someone he’s only seen once before – can you say Ben Solo? It’s a bit strange…[Read more]

@That_Writer_Girl_99 *whinily* Uncle Owen, this one’s got a bad MOtivator!
*ahem*
But we must cut him some slack. Considering one of his students went straight up crazy and started massacring people, it doesn’t surprise me that his mental capacities *cough* (manners) *choke* have finally fled.
*taps fingers sternly* Hmm, very bad, @Daeus, very…[Read more]

@xonos-darkgrate Rey being Ren’s little sister was actually a pet theory of mine a while back. That got debunked the harder I thought about who she might be, but yes, it did cross my mind. 🙂

@xonos-darkgrate I LOVE HOW IT SHOULD HAVE ENDED!
@daughteroftheking That would be cool, and way awesome-er than Rey being related to someone from the first 4 movies! But as far as I know, none of the main characters were married, so it would have to be distantly related by the RO character’s sibling or cousin or something. And if they were…[Read more]

@xonos-darkgrate *bursts into uncontrollable laughter* Ahhh that’s really funny!!
*lowers voice* What if… Rey is related to someone from Rouge One!!?? I would rather her not be related to anyone important (if only to avoid an “I am your father” scene), but I doubt they’ll do things that way. (That was a challenge, Disney. Prove me wrong!) But,…[Read more] -

@xonos-darkgrate man… and I thought I was a cynic… 😛
Duly noted, however. Empire Strikes Back is my favorite of the original trilogy as well, and I was a little miffed that TFA’s plot was basically a remake of A New Hope… but I think A New Hope lent itself very easily to being remade because the plot was so generic, which is less the case…[Read more]
