@Daeus oooopssss… *hides face* I’m sorry. I thought you wanted us to actually take the survey. Would it even let you flip pages if you didn’t?

sorry, I meant, say the book is fantasy. Something that would sweeten the deal for me would be an article about how she approached worldbuilding that only people who got the book could access. Or, a short nonfiction book related to reading/writing in some way. @Daeus

@dragon-snapper, What Kate said. Most people use the comments function to insert comments into a document, and then the writer gets them back and goes through the doc, implementing those ideas or not. I like to insert comments as I go, then after I’ve read the whole thing, go back and do things like character development and plot. But there is…[Read more]

@Dragon-Snapper easy. Read the book, tell ’em what’s wrong with it. XD
Okay, do try and be civil. But basically, they’re asking you to read it because they want your honest opinion on it. So give your honest opinion.

Well, this isn’t really relevant to the questions, but the first page of the survey has a lot of questions. I know that if someone asks me to take a survey, and there are a lot of questions on the first page, I’ll be hesitant to actually fill the whole thing out. But you other pages have only a few questions on them, so I would just…[Read more]

@Daeus first of all this is an awesome idea. Second of all I answered the questions. Third of all I have not a clue in the world how you possibly missed anything at all possible related to, about, or pertaining to books in general. I’ll let you know if I think of anything though. 😉

@Cloudy welcome! *resolves to make sure your reluctance in joining KP doesn’t stick around for long*
I play the piano too. Not very well, but… hey. I do play it. 😉
What’s your favorite genre? Fantasy, I presume? 😀 -

@that_writer_girl_99 Hi! (I’m late. I have a knack for that.) You like Percy Jackson? I loved the first series, but the Hero’s of Olympus wasn’t that great in my opinion. Have you read the Kane Chronicles? Hope to see you around the forum! 🙂 *disappears in cloud of glitter*

@Kina-Lamb that’s awesome. Certainly not a run-of-the-mill children’s book, which is even more awesome. I hope everything goes well. 😀

@warrioroftherealm Sorry to hear you’re dealing with Writer’s Block, because I just came out of a dry spell myself. It definitely isn’t the best feeling in the world. -_-
I feel like there really is no ‘best way’ to deal with the dreaded Writer’s Block, since I’ve found it seems different for every writer. Some ways work better, while others…[Read more]
