@Winter-Rose @GracieGirl thank you both for your prayers, and yes, Gracie— I’ll pray. 😉 I don’t imagine something like that comes without a lot of emotional turmoil in the family too.

@winter-rose I think breaks are great. A break for a month or so has worked for me to get a new perspective on things. It really helps to leave something alone for a little while because you can start afresh. But, this:

If I may be allowed to make a suggestion, maybe you should try a short-story or two. Just to get in the practice of completing things and making a coherent whole without all the work and indecision of a full novel.
