Daeus here— I just took one of your templates and put rough lines where I was talking about. If you shrink the text inside those lines, it makes it very neat and tidy and leaves clean, empty edges to frame the quote and make it look complete.

@Catwing I’m so proud of my scales. *examines her arms in smug satisfaction*
All the puns on people’s names tho… and inside jokes… XD I love KP Literature.

You know what, maybe you could just put two straight and fairly defined black lines down the sides of the one you fixed, about half an inch from the edge.

@Daeus hm… better-ish? I like the first re-do, but it isn’t perfect. What program are you using to put these together? Because putting in white boxes is like… as basic as the abcs…

@Daeus whooo, my eyes are crossing. 😛
None of these are particularly amazing in my very humble opinion, though I do think the second has potential. The biggest problem is the composition— there are no lines to define where graphic meets text, or to organize the whole thing for us so our eyes have to do as little bouncing around as…[Read more]

@Daeus sounds good to me. 😛 Honestly I haven’t studied it as much as I should have. But from what I know of Pinterest, that’s a very solid plan.

@Dragon-snapper I am so awfully sorry. I have no idea why it’s doing that. Guys, is anyone else having that problem?

Oh, and by the way, it may help if you put the sharing settings of the doc on ‘anyone with the link can view’. That way we don’t have to request individual access.

@Daeus uh… this reminds me that I was going to set up a board for my blog articles and I… totally forgot… XD
Honestly, I’m not a Pinterest regular. I have two storyboards (and three others that I share with @Hope ) and that’s it. I’ve been slowly picking up on how others use it for promotional purposes, but so far I’ve mostly used it as a…[Read more]

I suppose I should actually contribute to this thread… my favorite quote everrrrr since I stumbled across it a year ago:
Fairytales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.
And close second is ‘If you can’t be brilliant, odd will do.’

@Anne-of-lothlorien *pushes creaky old glasses up the bridge of her nose and blinks wisely*
Also in case you didn’t notice… that last one was mostly stolen from Jeremiah. XD

@anne-of-lothlorien wha…? XD I recognize some of those… Though I’m not sure I can claim the one about letting light in; I think I saw it somewhere else and it came to mind in the middle of our conversation…

Hey guys, sorry it took me a bit to get back. 😛 Thanks so much for all your feedback, it was so helpful.
I think I might have found a different option though… what do you guys think of Valiant?

@singforjoy ah man, that was my next guess. 😛 This site is simply crawling with INFPs (myself included 😉 ) so I’m sure you’ll get along just fine here. 😀
*nods* Good choice of genre. Same. Though I find scifi can be really cool too.
