What are you doing still awake at that time???It’s about the 1910 air race from Dover to Paris, it’s a comedy from the 60s and I found it very funny.

I’m just watching a movie and I desperately need to know if you’ve seen These Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines? I don’t like old movies that much, as you know, but I’m really enjoying this one and it seems exactly like your cup of tea.

I do have a prayer request…
I am working toward independently publishing my debut novel–a YA superhero/scifi story–in July. Sometimes I can get pretty stressed and anxious about everything working out, wondering if I can get everything ready in time, wondering if the book will flop, what people will think, etc. I’d really appreciate prayer…[Read more]

sorry its taken me so long to get back to you! If you’re still interested, I have two characters you could do.
Mere is the main character from my current WIP. It’s a pirate type adventure book, and Mere is white (with a huge amount of freckles), seventeen, and has very long, very curly auburn/ginger hair. She’s a very…[Read more]

@gracie-j For poetry, I recommend Across the Miles by Annie Douglass Lima!
She’s an indie author that teaches at the main campus of the international school I attended. The poems range from fantasy to spiritual to life anecdotes, and they’re not just really good, but they also made poetry as an art form feel really accessible to me (as someone…[Read more]

In classics, I would 100% recommend A Tale of Two Cities (my favourite book of all time), Hard Times, and Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens. The last two are lesser known Dickens books, but so good! There’s also a BBC miniseries of Little Dorrit if you enjoy that sort of thing. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. Frankenstein, by Mary Shell…[Read more]

Hey! Thanks for tagging me and congrats on getting so far in your novel! You’re doing so great and I hope in continues to go well. Sadly, I’m very busy with work and study at the moment and I don’t want to commit to any beta reading at the moment, since I’ll probably end up letting you down 🙁

That’s thirteen hours past my EST, so we’re pretty much exact opposites as far as day and night. 😛
I remember it was entertaining. 🙂
Well, it was inspired by last month’s KP newsletter picture prompt, but it got too long and I couldn’t shorten it enough to fit their max words requirement, so I didn’t send it in, but I decided to…[Read more]

Wonderful! Yeah, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? What time zone are you in, actually? I keep forgetting. 😉
QOD is the one I’ve read bits of, is it not? I can’t remember the title from the initials.
I’m not writing anything at present, actually, just here to chat. 😛 (I’m actually crocheting a baby blanket for my sister-in-law’s baby…[Read more]

@gracie-j Hidden Current and Forsaken Island by Sharon Hinck is really good (Christian allegory). I also really love the Weaver Trilogy by Lindsay A. Franklin and the Out of Time series by Nadine Brandes. For Whom the Sun Sings by W. A. Fulkerson is one of my most recent reads and that’s really good too.
*tries very hard not to go full fangirl…[Read more]
