Unsung

  • Hello, my friends! It’s been a minute since I was last on here. I’ve missed you all!

I have a question for any of you who have tried writing platforms similar to Wattpad, for context. I recently finished co-writing a book with my sister and we’re not sure what we want to do with it yet, so we’ve decided to try uploading it to a writing site over…[Read more]

There are misconceptions, but I can’t remember any specifically, so… yeah.  One of the coolest things I can think of at the moment is how the Holy Eucharist, at the moment of the consecration, whether the host and wine physically change to Christ’s body and blood or not, it is a miracle because the words of the consecration are so powerf…[Read more]

I can think of plenty about Catholicism to share, but I would share better if there’s something specific you want to know. 🙂

(I prefer not to mention it so much, nowadays, because it can seem like I’m bragging, but since you asked, I will tell.) I am fifth of fourteen siblings, with no sets of twins. 🙂 My oldest brother is married and…[Read more]

  • @unsung Hi!! It’s nice to meet you!! Welcome to the Kingdom!!! I’m glad @elfwing and @elanor got you to join!!! 😉

*high-fives for being a fellow Jesus-follower* I love Jesus and fantasy as well!!! I read your inspiration behind your username and may I just say that I love that reasoning!! 😀 It’s awesome!!!

What’s your favorite song? Favorite…[Read more]

  • Hey y’all!

So, I’m dipping my toes into allegories…

Who am I kidding, I’m diving right in!!

I would love all y’all’s input on this subject! Namely, what are some of your favorite Christian allegorical stories and what made them impactful? What parts drove to your heart? Narnia is definitely on the top of my list of Christian allegories, so i…[Read more]

  • @unsung I realized I forgot to answer a question so:

And do you sometimes feel that you’re the glue that holds your family together?

I sometimes feel like I’m the one keeping lots of things in order, in my family. I have seen that when I don’t do the dishes or skim the milk, no one does, so it doesn’t get done, so things back up, and conside…[Read more]

No, I should have tagged you, and I meant to tag you, but I must have forgotten to reran you after accidentally reloading the page. 🙂

LOL interesting! why the Vatican? And do you sometimes feel that you’re the glue that holds your family together?

The Vatican because: first, I’m a Catholic; second, I’d love to see what all goes on in it…[Read more]

That sounds fantabulous! I think it would be so fun to live on a hobby farm! I want peacocks someday (although, they’re loud). and I do really want a horse someday (although, they’re expensive) XD

they are very loud, yes. Whenever we go to California we stay at a place with peacocks and they usually wake us up in the morning. Horses are…[Read more]

well, we have cows and a milk cow, dogs, chickens and cats, but my three other families of cousins have goats, a donkey, horses, sheep, ducks, and turkeys, as well as beef and milk cows. 🙂

Aww, thank you. Most the time I don’t feel like a very wonderful person lol

I think that’s all of us sometimes, heh.

That is odd, but so coo…[Read more]

I cannot agree with you more about parent characters! And “happily-ever-after” stories sometimes frustrate me, too… They don’t reflect reality, and I’m a BIG supporter of fiction reflecting reality. 🙂

That’s so cool! Hopefully, I get to meet those characters someday. 😉

  • Okay, y’all, I need a brainstorming partner… or two… or as many as I can find, haha…

It’ll actually be for two separate projects. One is a middle-grade contemporary novel, and the other is a YA fantasy. If you’re up for helping me brainstorm, either (or both!) need work, so anyone who can, pretty much? I’ll give the tags here, and then put…[Read more]

Ooooo, yet again sounds like an amazing idea!

    Thanks! 🙂

Hahaha! You don’t talk too much! I actually feel most comfortable with talkative people, I think, because my friends have mostly been that my entire life!

Well, that’s a relief. Fun! I won’t feel bad talking, then.

lol even if it’s not a thing, you could make it a thing! In the wri…

*sidles into chat, grinning sheepishly* Well, I’m a bit late to the party… But welcome to the KP forum, Unsung! So good to have you here. 🙂 I’m Lydia.

Another Tolkien fan, woohoo!!! Tolkien is probably the author I admire the most; I’m a big fan! (To be perfectly honest, tho, you’re not the only one who’s never read LOTR.😉My mom read it…[Read more]

I have a slight feeling that quite a few people begin writing because of wanting to sort out emotions, then just keep going. But that feeling is just a theory…

It does get discouraging when my mom is in a hostile mood towards writing. Thankfully, (as I may have mentioned before) she’s never forbidden me. Heh, I suppose I am. I respect…[Read more]

Goodness, the forum has been blowing up lately!! Just now getting around to replying to you XD

Ooh, I love Honey Vanilla Chamomile!! Such a soothing flavor.

Hm, never hear of Matthew West before!! But I know Peter Hollens, I listened to a few of his songs. He’s got some serious talent; it’s hard to believe that his songs are ALL voice…[Read more]

  • @unsung Hello! I like the meaning behind your username. And your profile picture too–isn’t God’s creation amazing? I’ve always wanted to see that in real life.

  • @unsung

Yes, I tend to write when I have nowhere to put my emotions lol (And I have a lot of them!)

I used to do that, too; it’s changed and I’m not exactly sure what I do with my emotions, anymore, lol. I do still write at times when my emotions are high, though. It is relieving, to say the least. (I have a lot of them, too!)

    Hmm… I don’t kno…
