So, it’s looking like we will be planning for the 19th. Sorry if you can’t make it on that day–I know it’s Good Friday, but that’s the date that the majority of y’all…[Read more]

Chapter 17
Easton hated the tension that had hung between him and Tyler all throughout church that morning. They didn’t sit with the rest of their friend group like they normally did, which Easton appreciated. Last night had mentally exhausted him and getting up e…[Read more]

Oooohh, this is such a fun topic. I loved reading y’all’s ideas. And @trailblazer, I know that game! We have it, I think. The story is really cool.
The first story that I ever wrote (that I can remember) was about a cat. I don’t remember the cat’s name (or his friends’ names) but it involved rescuing another cat from a tree and the most anticlima…[Read more]

*shudders* Yeah, nothing short of a call from God could ever induce me to send my kids to public school. And my kids aren’t going to be allowed to date until they’re 16 either.

Pretty much all the public schoolers have phones and are preoccupied with boys and drama at school
😣 I wish schools didn’t have to be that way. It’s crazy that when I hear of a 12 or 13 year old dating or whatever, I’m not surprised. I don’t agree with it! but it doesn’t shock me. 🙁 I mean, y’all should be enjoying your childhood a…[Read more]

The theme I’m getting from most of the responses though is that MG needs more wholesomeness, or at least that was what you enjoyed the mos…[Read more]

I see a huge difference in the spiritual maturity of the homeschoolers vs. the public schoolers.
Seriously. My sister has a Christian friend about her age who’s public schooled, and my sister, who is NEVER someone I’d consider mature, seems more mature next to this friend. The friend is 9 and she’s already dating for one thing, and s…[Read more]

I had several fanfics for the Boxcar Children when I was younger. The one actually had a coherent plot, which is more than I can say for most of my WIPs. XD

THIS is why I’m not dating until college. 😂 I think I’d be allowed before then…but the sibling awkwardness is too much.
For real thoughhh 😂 I know in some family’s it’s not awkward, but I decided to go for it with Hallie’s family. XD
*squealing* I can forgive him for not taking her. He has a good reason.

Those are great ideas, thank you so much!! This is spurring a lot of ideas now, thanks.
Understandable. Contemporary writing is kind of like writing set in the present or close to it, and are mainly based in reality.
Thank you for the suggestions, I’ll check them out! Okay, compelling characters seem…[Read more]

Hm, okay I’ll take those into account. I would share details about the stories in mind but they’re both in the very, very early stages of development (aka I have one or two ideas for each and that’s about it 😅).
So far, for the first one I want it to be set in the summer or fall, and be about two high schoolers sending paper airpl…[Read more]
