The Protector—Gabriel
Gabriel sighed. The night seemed peaceful so far. No direwolf howl, only one monster attack, and as long as they avoided the purple vines and didn’t climb the walls, they didn’t have to worry much so far. He watched Cassius’s and Leander’s sleeping forms, wondering about childhood. After a c…[Read more]

Dude. Seriously?
I have to to the American dollar, but now I need to do more math. 😭
Just a minute.
Okay, about $689.23 in Canadian dollars…. if I did that right.
I would expect Julian to give Leon a look or say something like ‘you know this guy’ before saying something lik…

The Protector—Gabriel
Gabriel’s eyes drooped under his mask. As Barnes spoke, he started awake. “Do whatever.” He turned his back to Barnes and the other sleep two, taking off his mask and punching himself in the face to wake up. He couldn’t fall asleep. He didn’t trust the maze, and he also didn’t trust that L…[Read more]

The Protector—Gabriel
“Relax.” Gabriel adjusted his position, sitting with his legs crossed. “Inhale…hold it…exhale. Calm down your heart rate, it’s distressing you.”
Gabriel avoided Barnes’s question purposefully. What would everyone think if they knew his real age? Maybe they wouldn’t care, or they’d never r…[Read more]

Leon and Julian enjoyed their time with Konner and his family, and the notice was almost forgotten in Julian’s pocket.

Maybe…….
In my world we don’t get to plan that far ahead. So I guess set the date and we’ll see if I can make it.

Loopy replied to the topic KP GOOGLE MEET!!!!!!!!! in the forum General Writing Discussions 1 year ago
@hybridlore I’m available the 24th and 31st, but I’m not sure about the 7th yet. I can do Saturday mornings, but afternoons are better for me since I’m 3 hours behind everyone. That would also give @mineralizedwritings the chance to join too if she wants to and is feeling up to it.

Have you ever given a charrie of yours a weird mannerism that you have yourself?
A few of my charries like to sleep in a fetal position, or curled up around a pushie or blanket. And Gabriel stretches similar to a cat. Mannerisms I sometimes have.

The Protector—Gabriel
The scent of the smoke invaded Gabriel’s nostrils. It sickened him, but he remained silent, listening to Cassius’s talk about pleasure. Internally, he wondered if happiness and pleasure were different, and if they were, how were they different. A small plop sound woke him from his thoughts. H…[Read more]

The Protector—Gabriel
Gabriel hesitated, before sitting on the stone, bringing his knees up to his chest. He tensed at the slightest noises, eyes darting to where Cassius and Leander slept. “Uh… so do you want me talk like the Protector, or like…my other persona? Or just not talk at all.”

ah, that makes a little more sense.
okay then. Looks like we both win. I forgot their Babylonian names were used when they were set over provinces.

still very confused…. Washing soap?
Really? It seemed Daniel’s friends are referred to by their Babylonian names, but maybe that is just in the book of Daniel. Huh. I guess the most famous stuff is what ends up sticking around more.
I can check my notes again, but when I did an indeph study into Daniel I’m almost positive the o…[Read more]

@jonas I’d love to join! I do have a summer job (lunch break rn), so I’m not sure how much time and energy I’ll actually have, but I would really love to have other people pushing me to get writing done.
I’ll have a hard time picking which story to work on though.

Okay. Where are all those ladies and older people hiding?

I’ll see if I have time. I have rowing to do, plus I’m looking into getting a job this summer as well as taking the first steps to getting my driver’s permit since I’m turning 16 end of July and would like to get my permit as soon as possible. If I have time, I’d be interested!
Not sure what I’d write yet though…

This sounds like a cool idea. I don’t write very orthodox, so I won’t have an outline. (just character outlines). I’m also not sure if I’m sharing my current novels on line for marketing purposes. (They’ll be releasing this summer, starting with the first one later this month)
But I’d sure be willing to breathe down anyone’s neck who…[Read more]
