I’m working on a drawing of a Suilean today, hopefully I’ll have him finished by tomorrow.

And here’s my human protagonists just for comparison. I haven’t done any of the other creatures yet.

I’m really proud of the way I made this Changeling look like he’s disappearing.

You know you’re a writer when you’re in the middle of typing up a fanfic and you have to look up “Will you die from a stab wound to the shoulder” and spend the next like 5 minutes reading what will or won’t kill you in the event you get stabbed there

I need my character to NOT die before the medic arrives lol

There can also be hybrids of the different species. Like I said, the main character is half-Changeling half-human, and she in turn marries a crocodile-tailed Argonite. I also have an Ornithiform-Arcturan couple.

@savannah_grace2009 I love all of them! I also like how they’re all basically human but with powers and different colored skin–that’s typically what I end up doing too. And don’t worry, my creature rant will be long also.

It’s interesting to me how different people imagine the same characters. For instance, I see Faramir as having black hair (short and raggedly cut) and blue eyes.

But I can see how that’s him even though it doesn’t look like what I imagined.

The blue light filter on my phone gives the poor guy fiery red hair. He looks good though (besides the conspiring on technology).

….when you see someone else’s animation of a character you’re using in a fanfic. It has no words, but you can hear the character’s voice in your mind, narrating what’s happening to him, and you so want to comment on the video with the story that’s forming in your mind.
