I also listen to a lot of the Wiggy Feathers saga so the boring parts didn’t really bother me.
(I think I listened to most of them, but I can’t remember… it’s amazing what sleep deprivation will do to your brain.)

@not-so-secret-secret-assassin
The first book is okay. I enjoy the humor and writing even though the plot is a tad blah. The other three books are great. (Though I was kinda annoyed by the last book because nothing seems to go right!!!…. of course it also binge read the series, so by the time I got to the last book I was physically and mentally…[Read more]

It wasn’t too terrible…
Okay, I can’t. I will admit it. WOW!!!!
The first chapter was very well written and long. C.S. Lewis actually might be coming for an autograph. Please tell you sister “Good job from the Black Mongoose” (13… Wow. I wish I could have written like that at 13.)
Chapter 1 was good but chapter 2 was, well… errr.…[Read more]

Also, if you just want to skip to the second chapter to read what i wrote, you can. You don’t need to read the first chapter to understand the second chapter.

Hey yo, not-so-secret fam!
Contrary to popular belief, I actually DO write from time to time. And it’s actually REALLY GOOD. No cap. Like, Tolkien’s got nothing on me. C.S. Lewis? He came back from the dead JUST to get my autograph. And Shakespeare has been real quiet ever since I have started writing. And that’s a FACT.
Anywaaaays. I’m gonna…[Read more]

Thanks for helping me understand a bit better!
Also, sorry if I sounded a bit “un-gracious” there, but I guess what I meant wasn’t anything against the author, but the story. (I’m also a terrible writer, and it would indeed be bad news for me if the notion of improvement didn’t exist). So to rephrase: If the characters, world, an…[Read more]

For writing, I prefer researching earlier centuries such as the 9th-15th. Once firearms enter the scene I lose much of my interest. However, I do like researching and recreating clothing from the Victorian age.
Helmer, Whitby, Harmony, and Wilfred. I do like the MCs, especially Heather, but some of those side characters are…[Read more]

Tag me if you post it on KP! My favorite character was always Beth, but Jo definitely comes next, and Laurie’s somewhere up there too. Jane Eyre is interesting. Some of my family love it, and I enjoyed it, but it’s not one of my favorites.
No trouble worth mentioning. Actually, thank you for a good laugh. I drew this two years…[Read more]

Greetings to you Lobster Lover. I am Power or the Black Mongoose, whichever you prefer. We (If you desided to use both aliases) heartily welcome you to KP, and hope you have a blast. I (If you desided to use one) don’t believe mongooses live in lobster territory which is probably the reason I can remember ever sinking my teeth into one of the…[Read more]

I’m speechless. I don’t like being speechless. I’ll be back later when I can come up with some witty and errr… (speechless 😾 How did you do that!!)

One of the key factors in a fight is where the encounter takes place. (You might have more options in the woods than you would have in a hallway). If the option is available, the best thing to do is running away. That is, unless you know you can’t outrun, out maneuver, or hide (works well at night) from the individual c…[Read more]

@nanisnook Hmmm… I suppose that if you are as interested by the tools of defense and destruction as you say you are, my previous hypothesis must be incorrect.
Why is a lightsaber a terrible weapon?
Well, forgetting the fact that if you accidentally touched yourself with your blade you could easily be killed or mained, the big problem is that…[Read more]

@koshka It was better than I expected, although it did have a dreary tone. And I actually don’t know how old Rand’s books are, but I know they’re not new.
@joy-caroline Thanks! It was actually pretty easy for me.
