It must be really cool to have horses!!
@hope Haven’t been on Kingdom Pen for ages because I haven’t had time to check back regularly, but I saw this notif and was touched to see you included me in the ten people even though I am a terrible person. Been super busy and couldn’t do anything ugh.
Will definitely read it and get back to you with feedback! (Warning: might take a really long time as well. However, I am finishing high school in two weeks so hopefully during holidays I’ll get to it!) Thanks so much!
Email please? @sarah-h
@sarah-h ah, gracias. Yo sé que Español de España y America Latina son diferente. Es como ingles de Americana y ingles de Britain (?). Una dÃa yo quiero ir a España, pero es muy (far away). Es más fácil por ustedes, porque ustedes pueden ir a la México o America Latina.
@gretald Yup, I do that except the other way. When reading books with French in them, I understand the French by using my Spanish knowledge.
@sarah-h the ‘yo’ form of corregir is corrijo. SÃ, Chinese es my difÃcil. Yo prefiero Español, pero en Singapore necesitamos aprender lengua de madre.Yo deseo saber, por qué ustedes usan ‘entender’ para decir ‘to understand’? Yo aprendà ‘comprender’ para decir ‘to understand’.
I’ve got to admit something…I don’t know why it’s ‘escribiendo’. Like I know the infinitive form ‘escribir’ means to write but I don’t know what form of tense/usage that ‘iendo’ ending is.
Ah that was actually tiring. I had to think so hard. But this topic is great!
(And one more thing: ¿Alguien escuchó a Hamilton? Es mi musical favorito ahora!)
Yes, yes, and yes again even though you didn’t tag me 🙂 Or should I say, sÃ!
Yo aprendà español por ochos semanas, pero no tengo nadie con practicar. Necesito practicar antes de se me olvido!
Yeah mine’s not perfect either and I haven’t learnt future tense, but that’s what practice buddies are for I guess! Look forward to practising 🙂 Muchas gracias! (And if I’m not wrong it should be ‘muy malo’, not ‘mal’, because malo is the adjective while mal is the adverb. There I go again, being a grammar nazi in Spanish too sigh)
Can we get another one with proper punctuation please? I’m quite sure that it’s meant to be a corner for writers, not just one writer. So, writers’ corner?
Ahhhhh @Kate-flournoy I absolutely love that book!!!! *squeals*
@Daeus you’ll find it similar to the short story I sent you the other time. Actually I should say that my short story was similar to it because I was so inspired that I “copied” it. *gasps*Ahhhhhh @Daeus I’ve been so busy THANK YOU though for tagging me.
Haven’t had time to actually read the book, but since I’ve already read it earlier this year, I’ll just say that I really like the character development of the animals.
(By the way, is it just me or does anyone else have the problem called “I’ve been on Microsoft Word pressing command/control s to save every one minute, so when I type something else I keep wanting to save it after every paragraph”? AGH I JUST DID IT AGAIN.)
@Hope you were lying down, not laying. You’re not a chicken laying eggs.
Um, yeah Legendaires works.

I’ll either write Cruz in or vote Constitutional or Libertarian, none of which will get elected, but it will at least be a statement and might help a good third party get some minor seats down the road.
@Daeus oh is that an option? Sorry; I’m not that well-versed in American politics.Oh, and *anyway
I love tackling endings. There’s always such a sense of finality as you write the last word of the last paragraph, and then THE END. It’s delightful.
However, sometimes I have had problems with knowing how to end, and when to end. Should I leave it hanging? Should I tie up every single loose end? How do I pack up this mess of conflict and resolve it all nicely? I’m sorry. I don’t have answers for this. I’ve actually been very fortunate to have people tell me my endings are nice and bittersweet.
One classic literature ending that I absolutely LOVE is that of Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy. I love that book!! *squeals* *fangirls* The ending was perfect. Sometimes I get so scared when there are so few pages left in the book and the resolution doesn’t seem any closer, but this book really really satisfied all my readerly desires. Of course I can’t reveal for sake of spoilers.
@Daeus I partially agree with you about LotR. I didn’t mind Frodo’s leaving; in fact I was really happy about the way everything was turning out nicely and no one was dying. (Honestly, if you knew the trauma I faced while reading tLotR…I was freaking out thinking that all my favourite characters were going to die.) But it just suddenly stopped so abruptly.“Well, I’m back.” And then no more pages!!! It was so annoying. I was expecting some awesome cool Tolkien wisdom or something like that, but oh well. What can I say? The rest of the book was great enough. I just wish the ending had been better.

I wasn’t tagged. :'(
But yup I’ve got the book! Can’t wait to get started!!
Aww we should totally do LotR because I’m just right now rereading it! Let me think…what about Franken *resists the urge to add a celery at the end* *tries harder* Frankencelery *fails because Veggietales is too strong* Yeah, by Mary Shelley. I suppose that you should be able to guess what I’m talking about. It’s a great book and has excellent internal conflict.
