@that_writer_girl_99 I started one to start getting a presence, so to say. I post about my works in progress, writing tips, writing humor, updates… it is fun.

@that_writer_girl_99 I had one. I mean, I still have it, but I never post on it.
I posted short stories and poetry. It was good for just putting my foot out there and doing something public and it was a good learning experience, but did I build my platform? Yes. By a number I can count on my fingers.
Not very impressive.
If you start a blog…[Read more]

@that_writer_girl_99 – Praying for you! May the Lord have his victory!
@graciegirl – Most definitely praying. My mum has taken my two older sisters through grades 1 – 12 in home school, and she’ll have finished another 12 years with me next year. It hasn’t been smooth sailing the whole way, but when you know you’re following God’s calling, He’ll…[Read more] -

@That_Writer_Girl_99 I’ve got a blog also.
Technically I started it 3 years ago because my mum told me to so I could post nature stuff on it. XD *snickersnorts* UM NO. XD I don’t post about nature. I post writing updates, and do a weekly serial story, and just basically random life funny stories. And vlogs sometimes.

@That_Writer_Girl_99 wow, that took an unexpected turn. 😛 I love it. Good job with the prose. 😉
You’re right though, the shift in Matthias is pretty obvious.
And… that might actually be a problem. It’s perfectly fine for him to change his personality as you write him; that’s not what I’m worried about. It’s that the Matthias we meet first and…[Read more] -

@that_writer_girl_99 Thanks for the tag!
@Lady_Erin Yeah, sorry, I’m one of the few weird people here whose username doesn’t match their profile name. =P If you go to someone’s profile by clicking their name, you’ll be able to see what their username is. It takes a bit, but you’ll get used to who has different username/profile name combinations…[Read more]

@that_writer_girl_99 yeah, it’s kinda confusing *facepalms*
I’m going to call it a night. That character was pretty cooperative, though I know he’s still got some secrets.
I hope your writing goes well! -

@that_writer_girl_99 Thanks!
Actually it was a minor character who turned into an antagonist. I recently got the novel back from beta readers, and some of the feedback I got was that I have too many minor characters. So I cut a few and this particular character stepped forward to be an antagonist. Since I lack antagonists who are present…[Read more]

@that_writer_girl_99 I haven’t completely articulated that yet 😛 I had a synopsis, but it’s changing now. Basically, it’s a fantasy/sci-fi with a hint of dystopian. A girl from twenty-fourth century earth gets turned into the authorities by her family and wakes up on a different planet. She has a device that can take her home, but it’s broken.…[Read more]

@winter-rose Bye!!
@that_writer_girl_99 yep. There’s a certain character I have that I want to become more of a main antagonist in my novel, which I’m about to rewrite. This character is being very stubborn and secretive, so… *glares at character*

@that_writer_girl_99 wow, that’s awesome! I think I recall having a Star Wars obsession myself right after I saw it. I got into writing mostly through Erin Hunter’s Warrior books *blushes* It’s kind of silly, since the characters are cats, but I loved everything about them.
