@seekjustice Haha. 😛 Don’t worry, I like Quillon too. I just never feel the need to stand up for him since you adore him so much already.

@catwing Yay!! A second vote for Kendall!! (Yes, that face thing is cute. 😛 )
@jenwriter17 Um, when you get a chance, could you come over here and cast your vote? For my side? Please?? @seekjustice says no one cares for Kendall! How could she say such a cruel thing? I care for Kendall. Don’t you? (If you don’t, go back and read Waif’s…[Read more]

@seekjustice Well, so does Justice, so, come on. 😛 And Chessy, like, for the first half of the book she is purposefully disobeying her father! That may not seem as bad as Kendall’s lifestyle, but I would say, remember that Honor your Parents is in the Ten Commandments, while Keep from being a Drunkard is not. 😮 Okay that’s not really a great a…[Read more]

Oh, oh, oh!!!! hahahaha!!!! I love them!! Thanks so much! I especially like the “step into the water and get electrocuted” one. 😉

@seekjustice That was the biggest and most obvious instance. I think there were a few other times when he seemed a little too soft, but I’ll have to go back through and read it again. For the most part it’s all good.
I LIKE KENDALL!!!!!!! How can you say no one likes Kendall? Anyway, even Justice cares about him, as we established when Jus…[Read more]

@catwing Well, by all means! Please give me your ideas! One condition, make them as absurd as possible, and they aren’t supposed to work in real life. That’s the entire point! 😛
Yes, I know the papers would burn, and I know that doctors would not be that incompetent in real life. These faking death sequences are supposed to be in the ima…[Read more]

@seekjustice 😛
Yes, I agree. Your characters are the most important parts of your book. My biggest issue in the second draft was with Justice’s character, remember? 😉 And actually the Rain thing is specifically about her character. I feel like now that she’s “in love” with Justice instead of having a flirty kind of crush on Kendall she is…[Read more]

@seekjustice And thanks for not being offended. 😀 I know how hard it is to write, and I know how hard it is to have people say they don’t like something you’ve written, so I’m always worried when I say I dislike something about your writing, especially since for the most part I absolutely adore everything you write, so I don’t want you to get…[Read more]

@seekjustice I’m sorry! 😛
I’ve started part 4, and I do agree that Caderousse makes a bit more sense here than she did in the first draft.
The biggest thing I am worried about is that I think you are an amazing writer, but I am afraid that if your book is too similar to Les Mis people will not realize what a good writer you are, but will simply…[Read more]

Aaand, I fell asleep on you again. 😛
Anyway, I found the Sherlock Holmes parodies (the ones I was talking about) on the Australian Gutenberg. I didn’t even know there was such a thing! But I did find them, and they’re really short, so you can read them easily whenever you get the chance. Here they are:

@seekjustice Okay, cool. We’ve already established that you like both Gordon MacRae and Hugh Jackman as actors, so you should get at least some small enjoyment out of them. 😉 Even if you don’t like the musical in general.
Well, as I said, it’s not just Sherlock Holmes, as I didn’t know Holmes had faked his death that way but I have heard of…[Read more]

@seekjustice And there’s another version of Oklahoma I’ve watched which is a 1943 restitution, supposedly as exactly as possible to the original production. They copied the costumes, the sets, the choreography and the original script exactly, and called in those who were still alive from the original production to help them figure it out. I a…[Read more]

@seekjustice There are different things I like about each of them. Oh, and by the way, the Hugh Jackman version was from 1999, so it’s technically a “19-something version” too… 😛 The Jud character in Hugh Jackman’s version is much scarier than the 50s Jud is. I prefer Gordon MacRae singing “Oh What a Beautiful Morning” and I definitely very m…[Read more]

@valtmy Haha! Thanks!! I actually do need one partially reasonable death faking idea, because they do need to truly fake a death in the story. So it’s okay if you thought of reasonable ones.
I like them a lot! My brother came up with a boat one, except he said they should explode the boat. Probably because he’s a guy, right? Guys like explo…[Read more]

@seekjustice We don’t go camping very often. And unfortunately, it started to rain so we had to pack up and hike back up the trail pretty early this morning. At least we had one good night there. 🙂
Well, that’s two out of what, eight? You haven’t even seen eight old musical films, have you? So the percentage isn’t all that low if you thi…[Read more]

@dekreel I have to use the phrase all the time when talking about sci-fi with my brother. (which we do all the time, since we’re fans of Star Trek, Stargate SG-1, and a few other sci-fi movies/shows.) So to describe any character I’ll either say “sentient being” or “humanoid.” Just not all sentient beings are humanoids, so I have to use b…[Read more]

@valtmy Haha, well, maybe you can help me with some ideas. I need a whole bunch of completely ridiculous and impossible ways to fake someone’s death. (I thought I would have to ask @seekjustice 😉 But if you’re willing…) I’ll give you a couple of examples to show you what I mean.
Ways to Fake Deaths
Example #1: Rent a private helicopter, ta…[Read more]

Wow, I cannot believe how badly I messed up @jenwriter17‘s tag in the last post! 😛 Ah well, Jen, I was just saying that you’re one of Bobert’s favorite “sentient beings” in case you ever wondered. 😉

@rochellaine Yes, yes, I know… Hey, at least I didn’t STOP coming here all together. 😛
“Sentient being.” Yeah. I might just start using that phrase. XD
Poor Bobert! Maybe he likes Jen because she’s a Steampunk horse. Because honestly, there are few things more awesome than a Steampunk horse.
