@seekjustice I don’t even know what Little Dorrit is. 😛 (I’ve heard the name before, but that’s all.) No, I’m not into Disney either. Though I like a little of their really old stuff.
Great! And you like it!! That’s a score of two for me and three for you. 😉 You’ve liked Brigadoon and The Slipper and the Rose, and I’ve liked Anast…[Read more]

@seekjustice Haha. 🙂 I thought you had said she had only ever heard you singing the song, so that’s why I said you should show it to her.
Hahaha!! I do that all the time! I haven’t seen the new Cinderella movie, but I watched the clip of the ballroom scene a while back and loved it. Her dress is amazing. (I’m assuming you’re talking about th…[Read more]

@seekjustice You know, you really should show your sister the whole song. (What a Comforting Thing to Know.) By the way, how old is she? I only know that one of your brothers is nine. 😉
How’s your Pinterest board coming along? I really have no idea how those things work. 😛 I don’t have an account there, and only go on once in a while when…[Read more]

@seekjustice I’m just finished Tell Him Anything…and I just about cried when I heard her burst into “Don’t let him know – ”
Yes! 😀 Bill and Patty = best fictional couple ever. “Sylvester – Sylvester!” is from those books, but before Patty meets Bill. They’re also the window scene books. 😉

@seekjustice Well, I skipped the first half to catch up with you, so now I’m listening to He/She Danced With Me. I think that one has the most lovely music of all the songs from this musical. What a Comforting Thing to Know is the funniest, of course, and Tell Him Anything his heartbreaking, but the He Danced With Me is just beautiful. Do yo…[Read more]

@seekjustice Slipper and the Rose listen through? Cool! Let’s do it together. 🙂
I’ve listened to a bit more of the Tale of Two Cities soundtrack. I just finished Resurrection Man. My favorite so far is probably No Honest Way, for some undetermined reason… 😛
Not so great. 😀 My eyes are attempting to close, my brain is telling me to writ…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira SeekJustice said yesterday that I didn’t have to kill my characters. So there. 😛 Haha, you’re right, I probably should kill a character some time. Just let me work up to it, okay?
As for sidekicks…it’s impossible to tell when a sidekick will appear. Mine appeared quite naturally out of thin air during a conversation with Dekr…[Read more]

@alia If you call 1:30 a.m. early… 😉
@ariel-ashira I think my favorite song from SBfSB would have to be Bless Yore Beautiful Hide. However, close behind it are Wonderful, Wonderful Day and Sobbin’ Women. 😛 Don’t Howard Keel and Jane Powell have amazing singing voices?
*puts hands over ears* No, no, no! Don’t make me kill my cha…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira Haha! 🙂 I do go to bed early sometimes.
Of course I like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers! @sleepwalkingmk Looks like we’ve got another fan. Ariel, who’s your favorite character?
Haha, of course. No, actually, I’m afraid killing characters is possibly heartless. (Forgive me, @seekjustice 😛 ) But I was completely joking in my p…[Read more]

@seekjustice No, I haven’t. I probably should, but since the songs are in the wrong order in the playlist I keep getting mixed up about what’s happening. I can’t even listen to the songs as they’re listed on Wikipedia because they don’t have all the same songs in the playlist. 🙁 But okay, I’ll listen to a few more now. After I look up Mi…[Read more]

@alia You gave your secret away? Be prepared for circular reasoning at random times in the future. 😀
@seekjustice My sister and I actually sort of “collect” laughs. We like Howard Keel’s laugh during his song Bless Yore Beautiful Hide in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, we like Robert Goulet’s laugh, but the most contagious laugh I’ve ever h…[Read more]

@seekjustice It all depends on your perspective. During the 1700s and 1800s getting married at fifteen was normal. When my grandmother was in high school in the 60s she had several girl friends who were getting married right out of high school, which would have been when they were seventeen, nearing eighteen.
It’s only recently that people h…[Read more]

@alia Yes, I was meaning that people say China will be sending the most missionaries out to other countries. Chinese people witnessing for Christ in other places like Africa or, you know, just other countries besides China. That’s what I’ve heard.
It’s really cool that relations with North Korea are progressing, isn’t it?

@seekjustice Yes, I guess not. We also used to live next to a family who ran a ministry home for young girls. So I had exposure to that from a very young age.
Besides that I actually know a Christian homeschooled girl whose brother married a seventeen-year-old girl. 😀 Something funny about that was that he met her during ballroom dancing cl…[Read more]

It’s a good excuse to get out a social situation you never wanted to be in though. “Excuse me, I must go. My child is calling.”
Except that you’re only seventeen… 😀
