Haha, of course. No, actually, I’m afraid killing characters is possibly heartless. (Forgive me, @seekjustice 😛 ) But I was completely joking in my previous post. You couldn’t tell? I tried to make it sound as much like a joke as possible…but it’s hard to do that with only words, I guess.

@ariel-ashira I think my favorite song from SBfSB would have to be Bless Yore Beautiful Hide. However, close behind it are Wonderful, Wonderful Day and Sobbin’ Women. 😛 Don’t Howard Keel and Jane Powell have amazing singing voices?*puts hands over ears* No, no, no! Don’t make me kill my characters. *weeps* That’s horrible! Oh! Look at that, Bobert is coming to my defense! See his little fists ball up? He’s glaring at you…
😛 But actually, I’m planning on killing a character either in this book or my next one. No promises, though.

@rochellaine Once and for all I am not heartless and neither are you! Even God kills people when it will glorify him most, and he loves his creation even more than we love our characters! Its the same way when we kill our characters.

As for sidekicks…it’s impossible to tell when a sidekick will appear. Mine appeared quite naturally out of thin air during a conversation with Dekreel. Apparently Jen’s showed up on her doorstep. And of course, Sam rescued Stan as a hatchling, so he has a right to keep Stan for a pal. I think the most important thing is to watch for the opportunity. If you see someone who would do well as a sidekick, be prepared to annex him/her and you’ll have a sidekick all your own! Does that help?
Probably not, seeing that it’s all silly pretend advice… 😉
