How long have you been writing verse? My first ‘poems’ were practically sets of rhyme and meter with nothing much in the way of meaning. They were TERRIBLE!

This is a fascinating poem. I especially love the last stanza, and the others are very good too. The imagery is particularly intriguing to me, as well as the change in meter at the end of each stanza.

The author of this poem, who at the moment is doing the dishes and thus can’t access her phone, has requested I tag a few people to look over this. (I think that’s what she said.)

You like researching/designing fashion? Approximately, what eras hold the most interest for you, and what do you enjoy about it?

Personally, I enjoy learning about and recreating old clothing because I love history, and anyway, it’s great for world building! (Plus, hey, dressing up is fun.) 😉

Hmm, I’m not sure. The most similar thing besides angels (not fantasy, agreed) I can think of is either a pegasus or a huge eagle.

An eagle with a ten foot wingspan, strong protective instincts, and ready to sacrifice all if it would help those close to it.

And yes, that was MUCH more than needed. I got a bit carried away, I’m afraid.
