Honestly, I think this was actually okay. God gives strength, understanding, peace, awareness, revelation, and courage in the time He has chosen for the people who are receiving it.

I’ve got no problems with the new idea. I didn’t really have many objections to the old one anyways. Besides, it seems more realistic that the narrator wouldn’t want to know too much about magic.
