*raises hand sheepishly* That would be me.
I do that all the time! I love acting out all the parts in different voices and can do a duet, if I do say so myself, quite effectively. The problem is when the lines start to overlap. *sigh*
I think I might have read it, but that would have been a while ago.

Well, its hardly my fault that you people like talking about them so much. Still, my novel hardly falls into “romantic fiction”.
😛 I’m literally sniggering. If I was ever to get married, I would love to marry a guy who could sing, just so I don’t have to sing both parts of a romantic duet anymore. That would be great 🙂
I’ve had…[Read more]

If I come across one, I’ll attempt it 😛 the style is still not my cup of tea though 😀
Well, that is a sliiightly awkward conversation. I’m curious as to the list of qualities you gave her? 😛
I did and it was Gesticulate from Kismet. It was pretty funny 🙂

Well, I’ve never dared them, partly because they’re the Christian staples and I don’t want to offend anyone by saying I didn’t like them 😛
How’s things?

Ah, that’s a relief!
Do you think I’ve read Janette Oke? Me, who rather….dislikes, shall we say, romance? No, I haven’t 😛

@catwing Very true. But still, who says no to free books?
Goodnight! Oh yes, I feel a bit the same about romance. 😀

Awesome! What’s your pinterest name?
Is this Finding Secrets? If so, its definitely the sort of book I would have liked a few years ago. I haven’t read anything like it in a while so I’m not sure if I’d still like that style.
Pretty good. I’ve lost my voice and have a cough, but its pretty good. I’ll survive.

I like the poem too. It’s one of my favourites to recite and when we visited Barcoo I couldn’t stop myself, because everytime I hear the word Barcoo it gets stuck in my head. It’s “A Bush Christening” by Banjo Paterson, if you’re interested.
Okay dokey
Good night!

Righto. Mooniji and Narara are the only ones I took straight from Australian towns, the rest are all some sort of mixing up.
Kalamooney was a mixture of Kala–which is a fairly common Aboriginal prefix and Mooney Mooney, which is an actual town, believe it or not.
Traumlant is actually the only one which isn’t Australian Aboriginal…[Read more]

It’s basically about the princess/queen of said kingdom who is accused of being disconnected from her people, who are starving while she gambles away the kingdom’s money etc. So she orders a girl from the country to come and live with her and teach her about the ways of the people…
I’ve come up with a few different ideas,…[Read more]

Maybe cliché isn’t the right word, maybe archetype describes it better. Usually in terms of your characters, they fit quite neatly into the prearranged boxes, if you know what I mean? Maybe I just get confused because your stories are humorous and have clichés, so I tend to blend the two separate concepts together.
I quite enjoyed y…[Read more]

I thought you were a fan of clichés? (definitely most of your short stories have struck me as humorous cliché sort of stories) Maybe that’s just me. I definitely thought you liked anything cliché though.
That’s up to you. You just gave me a name with no context and I said the first thing that came into my head, but if the ch…[Read more]

@alia I’m not sure how clean they are…the one I read was fine, but that was just one that my mum suggested to me because it was based on The Phantom of the Opera, so you’d have to check that out more thoroughly.
Ceer brings to mind a “strong female character” sort of person. No nonsense, brisk, strong, but not necessarily heartless. Probably a…[Read more]
