@sarah-h No pantomimes are not silent. At least the ones we did weren’t. I’m not sure why they are called that rather than plays or musicals. I do know that in a Peter Pan pantomime Peter is always played by a girl. Don’t know why that either. 🙂

Speaking of which, I’ve got to go now. Hope you understand the writer’s corner better now! @Julia-r -

@Julia-r Ah, you found it! Welcome to the writers’ corner, where writers from all over the world find a time when they write at the exact same time to avoid distraction. So, say I asked you to write for an hour, we would write for an hour then meet back here to touch base, see how many words we wrote and compare. It’s more of an accountability…[Read more]

That’s cool, @dragon-snapper ! 🙂
Yes, Summer is almost over … but I refuse to talk about it. Summer will never be over!!! I wish …
I like Fall, though. It’s actually my favorite season.
I love fantasy! I was going to finish a rough draft of my fantasy novel before Summer was over … but it’s still a work in progress. Maybe I’ll set…[Read more]

I love how Tolkien refers to the reader as if he’s actually telling us a story. I also noted how he names some of his places very obvious names: The Hill, The Water, Misty Mountains…
It made me laugh how Tolkien mentioned that Baggins had his toes ‘neatly brushed’. 😀
@bluejay, you’re fine…in all fairness, I’ve not had time to do that much…[Read more] -

… Um, @overcomer, I appear to be in the same state that you are. That is so weird… and I meant that in I’ve started school up and stuff. So it’s almost over.
I’ll do it for the seven days of summer we have left. 🙂 My WIP is a fantasy based in a world known as Spondorium. I started it two and a half months ago, almost three, and am on Chapter…[Read more] - Load More
