@warrioroftherealm Ah, you shouldn’t ask me that question. Any time I’m in my room, or I have my computer out, I’m listening to music.
@anne-of-lothlorien I don’t think that the Warrior’s new… He’s been here for longer than I have.
Here’s me keeping it as simple as possible–
My favorite genres are Worship and Epic. So sorry, Warrior, but I’m…[Read more] -

@kate-flournoy I know that you’re not exaggerating. I have just as many ideas or more.
@anne-of-lothlorien I would jump the fence, but hope NOT to get a broken arm. I’d do it for the exhileration. (Ah, what am I saying. I’m a dragon, I’ll just fly over the fence.)
I have based a character off of someone before… but that’s another long story.…[Read more] -

@mark-kamibaya No, I don’t like that theme of the movie. I’m talking about the powerful turn-around of characters. It has a good theme in that, but yeah, otherwise it is like Frozen. (And I can’t stand Frozen) 🙁 *melts the movie*

@The-Bean according to my observations, yes. But I don’t think it necessarily follows that one must be an introvert to be a writer. Introverts simply come to that more naturally. It’s a ‘safer’ way for them to make their voice heard.
@Anne-of-Lothlorien no, I don’t think I’ve ever based a character off a family member or someone I know. Just…[Read more]

Heyyyy, you beat me to it @Hope.
But we knows the answer to that one too. *nods sagely* Edmund to King Miraz.‘Nonsense. You’re only saying that because no one ever has.’

Love your new profile picture, @anne-of-lothlorien
Also, the quote is from The Scarlet Pimpernel to chauvelin.
So do I get to go now, or do we wait for you to confirm we are correct? Anyways, here’s my next one.
“So you’re bravely refusing to fight a swordsman half your age?”

@WarrioroftheRealm hm… my favorite genre of music is probably traditional Celtic/Scottish/Nordic, though it’s really hard to find genuinely beautiful arrangements of traditional tunes.
And… I don’t have a favorite band. I just dig through stuff and find things I like the sound of. 😛 -

@Dragon-Snapper um… keep it to myself. 😛 Trying to explain awesome story ideas or plot twists to non writers just never really works. If it’s just too amazing to not tell anyone, I’ll tell @Emma-Flournoy because even though she’s not a writer herself she understands. 😉 I also write it down in my little pocket notebook. I have at least three…[Read more]

@WarrioroftheRealm Got it.
And I agree hugely with you and @Mark-Kamibaya about repetition in songs!!Have you heard the musical ‘group’ (not sure if that works, ’cause it’s mainly two people) Secret Garden? They’ve got some weird ones, but some of their’s are gorgeous. It’s a Norwegian composer and pianist (Rolf Loveland) and an Irish violinist…[Read more]

@Mark-Kamibaya Wow, that’s a lot of great thinking material. I like it. I’m pretty sure I get your drift…lemme see if I can give a coherent reply.
Yes, I have read Ecclesiastes, on my own and with the family and discussion. I understand what Solomon puts out there, and his thoughts on how fruitless life is. But somewhere in Ecclesiastes, he…[Read more]

Oh, and @Daeus @Mark-Kamibaya is the foil character you’re talking of in CoF someone who was real? I know the basics of the real story but I can’t think of anyone who’d be the way I’m seeing the guy you’re talking about. Is it a real historical character?

@Mark-Kamibaya I like discussing deep questions. I tend to get frustrated when I don’t understand exactly what’s being said though, so thanks for bearing with me. 😉
With your first example, Eve, it doesn’t seem like that’s two true goods—on the one hand she can be happy with God, and on the another she can be like God…but with the latter,…[Read more]

(isn’t the theme a bit like Frozen’s? Like the theme of “Who needs guys?”)
That is hilarious. I have seen both Maleficent and Frozen, and that take on either theme did not even remotely cross my mind. I guess you could mayyyyybe see that with Maleficent, but the biggest takeaway I got from Maleficent’s theme was ‘there are other l…[Read more]
