@daeus Kinda…it was more like ‘if I want to have my book stand out as Christian then why haven’t I done that yet?’ I really only added a verse here and a verse there, a bible reference there and here. So, yeah, it did feel cheesy, though it wasn’t pushy. Too simple.

@aratrea Exactly what you made it for, to write appealing Christian fiction that’s not ‘bored-to-tears’ type of reading. To learn how to incorporate theme into all my writing and that it would be moving. I’ll admit that I have had problems with the boring repetition for any audience. Either I was telling someone something they already knew, or I…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy Hmm… a vague poetical answer. We’ll see if we can deliver on your poetical desires. 😉
@audrey-caylin Awesome! Those sound like great goals to have. Definitely keep those in mind going through the course, and at the end I’ll be asking how much the course helped you to achieve those goals.

@gretald Haha, it is an important skill to know when you need to say no to something. 😉 Definitely understand!
@anna-brie Like Daeus said, as long as all viewers are part of the same family, we have no problem with them all using the same account.

@Daeus hmmm… I like the silver… at any rate the gradient gives the words a bit more of a mysterious look. I’m not sure it’s such a great idea to have both gold and silver words in the same place, unless you were gonna make the title gold and the subtitle silver, because gold is so much more vibrant it’s very distracting. If you’re going to…[Read more]

Well, I’m late. But welcome all the same! Great to have you on board. 🙂
Fourteen siblings?! Wow. Four siblings seems like a lot to me; I can’t even imagine having that many. 😉 But, yes, I know what you mean about siblings being fun and annoying… 😛
Yup, I’m a Narnia and Middle Earth nerd, too. I think a lot of people here are.…[Read more] -

Wow, this is SO cool! You KP staffers are pretty creative. 😉 Unfortunately, with school and everything, I don’t think I’ll be able to participate in the beta-reading portion of the process. I’m so bummed, though, because it sounds like an amazing opportunity! However, I’m the type of person who wants to say “yes” to…[Read more] -

Deciding what to write next is the hardest … it helps if you think about what interests you most right now. It’s pretty hard to write about historical characters if what interests you right now are modern cultures and peoples. You know what I mean, @dragon-snapper ?
It’s especially hard if you’re like me, and you’re constantly developing…[Read more]
