Tbh it’s really, really hard to show this kind of grief in writing, so I wouldn’t worry about it 😅 I don’t know if I could do it accurately, either.

I’ve found that it helps to use a very dark charcoal grey for the main body of the boot, so that it looks close enough to black but you can still shade it with pure black.
