Both. Probably sad things more frequently, but I can cry tears of happiness too. (I am fully prepared to cry at my sister’s wedding; out of happiness, that is 🙂 )

just because they feel everyone elses’ feelings doesn’t mean they haven’t got feelings of their own, and most of the time those are stronger than the ‘second-hand’ feelings, if you will.
