@sam-kowal Yes, all dragons should be like Stan. Stan is the best. 😉 That’s actually a really good idea with the Dulaman. I’m trying my very hardest not to make them Orcs but….ya know. If they did have something that would make them a bigger threat, (such as being able to neutralize dragons) they would be a lot better as henchmen in general.…[Read more]

I love how writing forces you to learn new things! But then since they are for stuff you are choosing to write, its usually something you would find interesting. (Of course sometimes you gotta learn loads of boring stuff.. *yawns*)

@skredder
Are you familiar with character arcs? Because having one of those might help you figure out where your character is and where they are going 🙂
Also with all this talk about amnesia I would suggest doing some research on the topic! Though maybe you already have? -

Ew ikr who even likes throw up green?? (I know almost exactly what color you are talking about)
I used to love pastels but recently I’ve found that i’m much more drawn to darker, but deep and rich  colors. Like jewel tones maybe? I realized I think I liked pastels because I hated overly saturated colors  and neons (Still do act…[Read more] -

@skredder I’m sure you’ll be able to do it without copying. Something I was thinking about was the fact that the Vikings captured people from several other nations besides Ireland. I read a G.A. Henty book about that, called The Dragon and the Raven. It was very interesting, and dealt with the Vikings and their culture, but the hero was Bri…[Read more]

Yes! It did work. So, I think you should be able to read the poems by clicking on the link.
Note please, these are not poetry, they’re poems. There’s a difference. 🙂

I would love to hear about why you like green! 😀
I like green too! Especially cool greens like evergreen and peacock green! I really like chartreuse though!
What about you? What are your favorite (and least favorite?) shades of green? :p -

@skredder Neat. I was more of a Hardy Boy than a Nancy Drew reader during elementary/middle school, but I definitely read a lot of those books back then. 🙂

Yes!! So cool. Do you have a favorite color? Honestly I can’t ever give anyone a short or easy answer to that question haha.. As I don’t really have favorite colors so much as favorite tones, saturations, and temperatures 🙂 -

Cool thanks! Ill try to watch them sometime.
The fact that they are long probably means they are very informative!Yeah I agree. The feeling of pencil and paper is much more comfortable 😀 It just feels more natural.
That being said I think you can do a LOT of cool stuff with digital! -

@skredder Have you ever read the Viking Quest series by Lois Walfrid Johnson? It is about an Irish girl who is kidnapped by vikings and made a slave. It’s a very interesting series, and one of my favorites. It would give you a good starting idea of the culture and history of the time period, and you could research from there on.
Can I say it…[Read more]

@skredder There are several different types of amnesia. Usually with the type of amnesia I think you are talking about the amnesics are able to remember basic things like tying shoes, riding a bicycle, and reading. Sometimes the amnesic effects are random, such as a bilingual forgetting one language, but remembering another. (That could ac…[Read more]

@skredder Maybe before the Irish woman meets the Irish man, she could be wondering where she came from constantly, all the while getting more and more comfortable around her new family. So when the Irish man comes in, she wants to see where she came from, and see her old family and friends, but she also doesn’t want to go back into slavery, and…[Read more]

Thanks guys! But I feel like I forgot to explain some things. Sorry. (Oh, the problems of explaining…)
One of the reasons they need the dragons for basically the whole story is that the barriers between the countries can ONLY be traversed by dragons. This is important because the rigid separation between the countries is integral to the…[Read more]
