@seekjustice Haha, stinging tree: stings. Should that be obvious? 😛
Quite. And disgusting. 😛 I was reading an explanation of how Judas hung himself, then was hanging there dead for several days before the branch probably broke and his bloated body fell down on the rocks and burst open. For someone who hates any form of medical discussion, re…[Read more]

@seekjustice What?! You don’t have poison ivy? Forget about the dead-in-ten-seconds snakes and spiders! I’m moving to Australia! 😛
Seriously, though, you don’t have any? What about poison oak?
I’m researching Judas Iscariot and general facts about biblical lifestyle, such as what types of wells they had so I can get a clearer set…[Read more]

@seekjustice Well, I suppose that’s a fair reason. 😛
I’m having a horrible time typing tonight because some poison ivy I got during camping suddenly swelled up into a huge bubble between two of my fingers, so moving them hurts. 🙁 I was intending to work on writing, but I guess I’m stuck with researching.

@catwing Wow, new profile pic! 😀 I was quite fond of the other one, though. I’ll have to get used to this. 😛
@seekjustice Hey, are you on tonight?

Catwing replied to the topic Writers' Corner #19 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 9 months ago
@seekjustice Thanks! No, it isn’t. It is for the Catwing Guard that protects the Sapphire on the Invisible Island (Hence the big blue sapphire on the helmet). The Catwing Guard is going to be in my second book, Jack, Amelia, and Chase will have to figure out how to get it without having several dozen Catwings pounce on them. So I come in, being…[Read more]

@seekjustice Indeed. I drew a new one so I decided to update it. You like it? I may expand it when I finish my feathers. 😉

@seekjustice It is flying right over my head since I don’t know the characters. But just in case. Bloop. *brainwashes self* There… Wait. Who are you?

@seekjustice Oops, sorry I must’ve missed that post. Alrighty then! 😉

@rochellaine No, I haven’t read it yet. I thought I was supposed to get an email with the word doc (did I do something wrong @seekjustice?)

@seekjustice Okay, well, I’m going to sign off now.
Goodnight!
(I’ll keep thinking and let you know if I have ideas for any plot twists. I should probably read the full synopsis of ATOTC, though, and research it a little bit more as well.)

@seekjustice Okay, cool. At least there’s one thing I imagined correctly! 😛 Part of the problem is probably that I’ve never been to Australia, so I’m probably imagining the setting completely wrong, and that carries to the characters.
Well, like I said, I thought it was pretty strange that they let the servant go after Justice was already in t…[Read more]

@seekjustice And I don’t imagine Zac wearing a leather jacket. 😛 I don’t think I’ve ever thought of what Zac would wear, actually. Let me see, I think it would possibly be a slim cut t-shirt tucked into dark jeans or khakis with an open, untucked button-down which he takes off and on when he gets hot or cool. Since he’s rich but partially la…[Read more]

@seekjustice That depends on the jacket. (I have a light leather coat that is not hot at all, but my mom has a fleece-lined leather coat that is extremely heavy and hot.) I think leather lined with fleece is the reason you would usually think of leather jackets as hot, such as an aviator jacket. A jacket that is just thin, cured leather wo…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh my, I did not mean “that looks hot” as in it’s goodlooking. 😛 I meant it looks like it would make the wearer hot and sweaty. 😛 😛 Whew, that was…rather upsetting.

@seekjustice Haha, we don’t watch much in the way of movies or shows either, but when we do, it’s usually older stuff. Or documentaries. (Yes, I have actually seen a lot of old movies and shows, but a lot of the ones I talk about are ones that I actually haven’t seen the full version of, like Carousel, which I’ve just seen a lot of clips of, o…[Read more]

My post disappeared. Here it is again:
@seekjustice‘s sister You’re breaking my heart! 😛
@seekjustice Is your entire family so prejudiced against my favorite classic shows and movies and musicals and actors and singers and writers??? 😮
Hm, that’s interesting. What kind of jacket is it, then? A suit jacket/blazer, or a light coat cut st…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Yes! He’s not my favorite either, but @seekjustice actually said “no one likes Kendall,” so I had to protest. I don’t like him best, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t like him at all.
Thank you for your support! 😛
Oh, and have you read any of the second draft yet?

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #19 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 9 months ago
@seekjustice Aw, too much like a cowboy? All because of the hat, I’m sure. Try these:

Or Clint Eastwood’s son, Scott Eastwood, with a black leather jacket just like Justice?

Why thank you! But you still aren’t going to use any of them, are you? 😛 Nope, didn’t think so. Maybe I should write an AU and save Zac myself, since you won’t. 😉

@seekjustice and @seekjustice‘s sister but you gotta be impressed with how many plot twists I came up with that Zac could be rescued in without Justice being killed in his place! Right? I was carefully keeping Justice out of it. 😉

@seekjustice Here are my ideas for plot twists.
Stasya could rescue Zac because he is big and strong and could just smash everyone that gets in their way as they’re escaping.
Sean Darcy could have a change of heart (brought on by Zac’s sacrifice) and tell everyone Zac isn’t Justice.
Jean could get all his gold that he kept in his mansion away…[Read more]
