Oh, Hooray! I finally got around the quirks in my gmail account and have a google document with the opening of my book!
So please read it and tell me if after reading this much you would keep reading. Or something like that.
Right now I’m not looking for grammar and editing issues, but just trying to make sure that it’s a good idea to c…[Read more]

Thank you so much guys! Today was the best day I’ve had at school all year because I didn’t feel alone at all. It was a really good feeling. 😉
The book looks awesome! I actually got a Thriftbooks gift card for Christmas that I haven’t used yet, and it’s really cheap on there.…[Read more]

Okay, I’ve got a little bit of clarification to do. 🙂 Mostly because I took a lot of time off from writing for finals last month, and am just getting back into it, so I had kind of forgotten a couple of the plans I had made for this book. Therefore, when I wrote the synopsis I missed a few things.
@seekjustice and @jenwriter17 This is not a h…[Read more]

I have an announcement: The KPA is finally underway! I hope…

(don’t judge — I have no idea what movie/show this gif is from…)
I had to rewrite it completely, but I think it will turn out well! I FINALLYFINALLYFINALLY have the plot figured out!!
Unfortunately, since I rewrote it, Number One: The prologue is a dud, and Number Two: I have…[Read more]

@seekjustice Lol, yeah might not want to yell out how most of the characters end up at the end of the book! That guy will find out for himself one day…..
I didn’t know you ride horses! (or did i?) Do you have a favorite breed?
@seekjustice @perfectfifths Yup, fallen off a horse twice and almost two other times. No broken bones…[Read more]

@seekjustice Finally finished that post. It was really hard, because I’ve never written a synopsis for this particular book before, and I don’t usually figure out the entire plot before I write, but just a general idea. But anyway, it’s there, so if you’d like to see about it, go ahead. 🙂
(I do actually have more plans than what I wrote in th…[Read more]

This doesn’t have a name yet, but it is supposed to be a contemporary novel set in the American West with a plot similar to the old Westerns. This is not a book blurb, just an explanation of what it’s about.
Chara (Sh-ah-ra) Doran visits her uncle and aunt in Nevada. She is a five-foot-tall nineteen-year-old who is self-conscious about her s…[Read more]

@seekjustice I have only recently been introduced to character charts, and have only ever done one…but it was fun – and a lot of work. 🙂
I am about to be done now, but I think I’ll post my Contemporary Western in Novel Critiques first. (Can’t stay up too late tonight, because tomorrow’s Sunday.)

@seekjustice Hi! I actually can’t hang out this time either. Sorry! But I thought I’d offer a quick word of encouragement. I know researching (I don’t know if you like it or not) can be hard, but you got this girl!!!👍
You have a blog?!

I was studying in London until a few weeks ago. Right now I’m in Asia on the little island country that is Singapore.
I have three writing projects currently. One is 25,000 words in and another has about 10,000 but needs more time to simmer in my mind. The last is just a hazy idea/concept.
As for genres, I usually read romance,…[Read more]

@seekjustice Yeah, well, I got the idea when my family toured Western America last August. I am planning on posting the beginning of it and a synopsis for critique soon – maybe tomorrow – so you’ll see what it’s like then. I am going to try to make the plot similar to one of the old Westerns, but since it is set in the modern day it’ll be a l…[Read more]

@seekjustice Finished my assignment. Now going to work on my Contemporary Western again.
Speaking of research, I just thought of something else I dislike about Austen. I have read that she actually had no idea what society life was like, since she was raised in a poor family, and her novels were basically fantasies about a life she had only h…[Read more]

@seekjustice Goodness, our posts are getting tangled up. I’m replying at the wrong times, since I can’t see your next post until I’ve posted. Let me fix that: Yes, I’m enjoying it. It’s very interesting.
There. If this gets posted before you post in reply to my last one, there should be no more tangles. 🙂

@seekjustice Okay, I figured out what to write, so now I’m just trying to put it on paper – um – on the computer screen. 🙂
Austen. I can tell in reading her books that she was a good author, but I didn’t really like them, either. I liked Emma okay when I read it about two years ago, but now that I think about it, I probably wouldn’t like it mu…[Read more]

@seekjustice How silly of me. I forgot to answer your actual question. I’m studying Criminal Procedure, which we joke is “how to proceed as criminals” but is really how to proceed in things like searches, arrests, and criminal trials.
