@seekjustice Hm. For me the more I plan, the more unconfident I am. The more I’m like (Why am I doing this?!) I suppose planning isn’t my thing. Even though I tend to do it ALL THE TIME!
The KPA is going great! For once! I’m still a little unconfident, but I have found the secret to this:

*writing LOL
Anyway, I’m signing off now. I was…[Read more]

Greetings!! *tips hat*
So as you know, I am writing a Dr Who fan novella (I think I’ve started one too many topics exactly like this XD). Its setting is in the country of Taranar, which contains the Red Chasms, which homes hundreds of Chasm Beasts like myself. But unlike myself, these Beasts are evil, even bloodthirsty. (total and constant…[Read more]

@seekjustice Completely relatable. I get so busy planning that I never get to write the stupid thing! This KPA has been an exception, though, which I am SO thankful for

Have you started writing your ToTC retelling?

@seekjustice Glad you liked it! Thanks for the suggestions. I really like Caleb, Tommy, and Peter.
@jenwriter17 Blueberries forever! 😀
Actually I like blueberries a lot, but they aren’t my favorite fruit by any means. I just was trying to come up with a quick story to tell my baby sister when she needed to be distracted, and out of my mo…[Read more]

@rochellaine thanks for the handkerchief. I feel bad for the characters too. *dabs eyes* I can’t wait for the sequel though.
@seekjustice lol, that author-character conversation was funny!

@seekjustice Haha! You should totally write author-character conversations and post/publish them along with your books.

@seekjustice I put a link to the Wikipedia article in my previous post. Redshirts on Star Trek became so famous that they became a trope. To be a redshirt means that you are brought onto the show for the sole purpose of dying. 🙂 Basically. Read the article Here.

@jenwriter17 *hands you a handkerchief* Thank you! I feel so sorry for @seekjustice‘s characters. I believe to be a character in Seekjustice’s book promises about as sure a death as to be a RedShirt on Star Trek, TOS. 🙂

Hi everyone! I have a children’s picture book I’m planning to publish around the end of this month or the beginning of next month. (I am currently working with an illustrator.) But though the story is complete, I didn’t pick a name for the protagonist, and I think it would be a smoother read if he had a name.

Hey @seekjustice! *returns handshake equally vigorously* I love Tolkien’s world and am always delighted to meet others who appreciate his brilliance! And actually, Les Miserables (the unabridged version) was the last book I read! It was a reread, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Since there’s a topic ‘you know you’re a writer when….’ I thought it’d be cool to do one for bookworms. ‘Cause we all know most if not all writers are bookworms. So let’s get this rolling!
You know you’re a bookworm when you feel each emotion of the main character.

@perfectfifths Hooray! My brother quotes that movie a lot. 🙂
@dekreel I didn’t notice the second quote the first time. The word “dynamic” makes me think of the dynamic duo (Batman and Robin) but it is highly unlikely you would use a quote from the 1960s here, so I’m sure that has nothing to do with it. 🙂
